This whole body-controlling thing was very strange to Lucia. She felt her mouth move and heard a sound coming out of it, but she wasn't directing it. It was as if her mind had been chained.
When she bent down and touched Achoo, it felt like lava had been injected into her veins. The heat immediately spread throughout her body and the heat was so unbearable that Lucia was seriously afraid that her whole body would catch on fire. After a few seconds, however, the heat began to ease, and even a pleasant warmth took its place. The last time she felt anything like this was when she fell asleep in her mothers arms.
As Lucia grew more accustomed to the warmth, Artemis' next sentence hit her ears as she looked up and spread her arms.
"Then let the battle begin!"
At that moment, the chains holding Lucia's mind crumbled and the blue-white haired girl was once again the master of her body.
"I'm sorry Little Alpha, but I could only stay with you so far." Lucia heard Artemis's voice in her head. "In your current state, it would be very dangerous for me to possess your body any longer. Fortunately, Kewok doesn't know about this, otherwise he would have attacked me long ago."
"What?!" Lucia was completely terrified. "How could I defeat Priscilla and Kewok by myself?!"
However, no answer was received. Artemis's voice fell silent and Lucia was completely alone.
The girl with blue and white hair took a deep breath, then looked ahead and looked determinedly at Priscilla, who was speechless in shock. Lucia was only a few steps away from Priscilla when she stopped in front of the gray haired witch girl. Although Artemis said that her fight with Priscilla was inevitable, Lucia trusted that she could make the gray haired witch understand that her plan would not work.
"Priscilla," Lucia said. The girl with blue and white hair immediately noticed that her voice sounded strangely scratchy. "Please listen to me. Kewok is scamming you. He has no intention of bringing back my grandfather or your father."
Priscilla's eyes narrowed.
"Really? And who says that now? Lucia or Artemis?"
"It's me, Lucia." confirmed the girl with blue and white hair. "I know that I'm looking strange now, it all caught me by surprise, but it's really me. And believe me when I say that Kewok has been using you all this time."
Priscilla looked doubtfully at Lucia, then her eyes fell on Kewok. As soon as the two pairs of blood-red eyes met each other, the ancient god said:
"I am not the threat here, my child, but your friend is. She may be in control now, but my sister can always take back control of her body and fill her head with more lies."
"This is not..."
Lucia immediately bit the sentence. If Kewok learned that Artemis would not appear again, he would kill her immediately.
"It's Kewok who's lying, not me." Lucia tried to convince the gray-haired witch girl. "Please, Priscilla, believe me!"
"Look, my child, who do you want to believe?" Kewok asked. "Me or my sister who challenged you to a duel?"
"What?" Priscilla shook.
"Of course." Kewok immediately nodded. "The previous conversation between me and my sister was about you having to fight your friend. That is why she turned Lucia into her god form. In addition, Artemis set the condition that I cannot interfere in your battles in any way, otherwise my sister will finish me immediately. Feel free to ask Lucia about this, because she also understands the ancient language through her host body."
