On Sunday afternoon, a lot of people were waiting in front of the Castle of the Covens. Everyone wanted answers about what happened on Saturday. On the one hand, how could the coven soldiers allow another murder to happen? On the other hand, are the rumors true that Amity Noceda, who at that time participated in saving the Boiling Isles, really attacked a fourteen-year-old girl?

Lucia and her friends were also standing in the crowd, anxiously awaiting developments. Finally, the gates of the castle opened and the head of the ten main covens, as well as the Vice Covenhead of the Peacekeeper Coven, Luz Noceda, walked out of the building. Everyone immediately fell silent and looked up at Hunter Park, who stood up on the podium in front of the castle and started talking to everyone from there.

"Dear everyone, I regret to share the news that Cat Valentina and her husband, Raymond Valentina, lost their lives on Saturday evening. Their bodies were found not far from their restaurant. Today, the covens will deliver to every home a detailed description of the newly adopted measures, which are intended to serve your safety. In addition, the number of special units will be tripled so that we can catch the culprit as soon as possible. I will now give the floor to Luz Noceda."

With that, Hunter walked off the stage to make room for Luz. Luz took a deep breath and began what she had to say.

"In addition to the measures and the special team, we also want to guarantee the protection of the residents of the Isles in other ways. Together with the covens, we have decided that starting tomorrow we will start two courses for everyone. One will be related to glyph magic. I know that since everyone has a magic bile sac, they don't need such alternative spells, but believe me, sometimes this kind of knowledge comes in handy. Of course, as the only user of glyph magic, I will be the instructor."

A low murmur ran through the crowd. Lucia glanced at the witches. The brunette girl knew very well that even though her mother was accepted as the only human witch, many people still considered Luz's magic to be a very primitive method.

"And the other course will be close combat, which will be led by Valencia Cadel, who has already proven her expertise in bare-handed combat countless times." Luz continued her speech. "Melee would be necessary because, based on my experience, we can often find ourselves in a situation where we cannot cast spells properly, so we have to rely on our physical strength. Of course, we do not oblige anyone to attend any of the courses, but we will welcome anyone who intends to participate in any of them tomorrow morning at eight o'clock in the logistics area of the Castle of Covens."

Luz left the podium with that. She was replaced by Amity Noceda, who looked at the people with a gloomy face.

"Well, as you all heard, there was another incident on Saturday night. There are many rumors, so I would like to dispel any doubts. It is indeed true that I seriously injured a minor named Celeste Polleo."

The witches listened in astonishment to the words of the head of the Abomination Coven.

"There is no excuse for what I did." Amity continued. "Even though I was under the influence of the Everlasting Oath, the violent behavior I produced was still unacceptable. Unfortunately, I can't undo it anymore, but I want to prevent cases like this from happening, so starting today, the Everlasting Oath is considered a forbidden spell. If someone still dares to use it, it entails certain sanctions and punishments."

"And speaking of punishments. I am resigning from my title of head of the coven and an impartial court will decide on me regarding the case."

The residents, led by Lucia, stared at Amity in shock.

"Also, of course, Celeste Polleo's hospital bill is fully covered by me, and I publicly apologize here and now for my actions against the Polleo family. Although unfortunately they are not here now, I hope my message reaches them. Thank you for your attention and I'm sorry to disappoint you all."
