Sitting in her chair, Celeste drummed her feet and waited impatiently for her last lesson to end. The pink-haired witch's hands were shaking from nerves just thinking about what her sister might have said to Lucia. She could only hope that Clarissa didn't confuse Lucia too much. Although she could see how uneasy the brunette was when she had asked her if she had spoken to Clarissa.
The pink haired witch's hands clenched into fists.
Celeste hated it when her sister did that. She constantly interfered in her private life and had almost no privacy. Clarissa had even ruined her relationship with Axel. After all, she was the one who made the comment that something was wrong with Axel. Of course, Celeste didn't want to deal with it at all and tried to ignore it, but the whole time it was running through her mind that what if Clarissa was right? In the end, she just found out the truth about Axel and immediately broke up with the boy and didn't speak to him for a long time. However, as it turned out afterwards, Axel wanted to tell her the truth, but unfortunately Celeste was too quick to judge. If it hadn't been for Clarissa's mysterious hint, she might still be with Axel today. Although the pink haired witch didn't really mind that they broke up, because Axel and Lucia found each other thanks to this. And Lucia deserved happiness more than anything, since she's been through so much...
Celeste was momentarily saddened by the thought, but then she slammed down on her desk angrily.
Damn it! This is exactly why she needs to protect Lucia! Lucia is not like her, she cannot protect herself from Clarissa's manipulation! Who knows what damage Clarissa did to Lucia's mind...
Then the bell finally rang. Celeste immediately jumped up, threw her things into her bag and hurriedly left the room. At the entrance of the school, she conjured her staff and flew home. As soon as she reached the house, she immediately ran up the stairs and into her room. She took a large bottle of abomination slime from beside her bed, strapped it to her waist, then walked over to her desk and attached a couple of bottles of potions to her belt. She then took off her concealment stone to become Amelia Bright again. Just to be safe, Amelia put her concealment stone in her pocket so in case she had an unexpected visitor while she was talking to her precious little sister.
Amelia took a deep breath and headed towards the garden with determination. The golden blonde haired witch wasn't worried about anyone noticing her, as their house was far away from the other residents, and Willow Park had planted such dense vegetation around their garden that it was impossible to see through it. The yard could only be seen from the air, but the plants noticed any intruders immediately.
As soon as she stepped out into the garden, Amelia immediately saw Clarissa in her usual place. Her younger sister was sitting on a swing between two trees and rocking herself slowly. The little witch smiled when she saw her sister.
"Hello, big sis-"
She couldn't finish her sentence, because Amelia immediately released all the abomination from her bottle at her sister. Both of Clarissa's eyes glowed purple and she ducked her head away from her sister's attack with noble simplicity. Amelia immediately called back the goo and then formed a larger drill head from it and sent it at her sister. Clarissa drew a small magic circle in the air as tendrils grew out of the ground, blocking the path of the drill head. Amelia's eyes glowed an orchid color as she struggled to get through the tendrils. Unfortunately, the tendrils were too thick.
Then Amelia changed tactics. She gathered the abomination slime around herself again, then conjured her staff, which she raised into the air, and all the slime rose into the air. After that, she formed hundreds of tiny spikes from the abomination. Amelia swung her staff downwards causing all the spikes of abomination to shoot straight at Clarissa. Clarissa's right eye glowed green and, holding her hand to the sky, she drew a larger magic circle with her finger. A second later, the tendrils formed an umbrella over Clarissa. All the spikes hit the umbrella and did little damage.
