"How is it any of your business whether or not I do?"
A hint of disappointment appeared in Jiang Xingnan's gaze. "Do you love Lisa's status and position that much?"
"This matter is unrelated to you." She was too lazy to explain anything to him.
"I'm saying this for your own good." His expression turned worried. "Being Madam Manoban is much harder than you can imagine."
Jennie had been Lisa's wife for ten years in their previous lifetime. How could she not know how difficult it was?
"Scram!" She raised her voice.
This boy who poked fun at her appearance at every turn was especially annoying!
She walked around him to leave when Jiang Xingnan suddenly held her back. She was caught by surprise and fell into his arms.
Nearby, Krystal stood behind a corner and caught a photo of Jiang Xingnan embracing Jennie.
Unfortunately, they were too far away for her to hear their conversation.
Fang Manxue scrolled through the photos that she had taken earlier.
One of them was of Jiang Xingnan watching Jennie emotionally. As Jennie was facing away from her, she could not get a shot of her expression. She first sent this photo to Lisa.
As for the photo of Jiang Xingnan embracing Jennie, she would save it for more important uses in the future.
She did not notice another camera directed at Jiang Xingnan and Jennie. The camera clearly caught her in the same frame with them.
After being pulled into Jiang Xingnan's embrace, Jennie immediately pushed him aside and gave him a tight slap.
"Pa!"
The slap resounded loudly.
Jiang Xingnan appeared to be in disbelief. He widened his eyes as his anger burned. "Kim Jennie, you dared to hit me!"
As a son from a wealthy family, no one had ever dared to use physical force against him. If it wasn't because he had feelings for her, he would have gone against his own principle of not touching women. There was no way he would have let her off before she was half-dead.
"What's there to be afraid of?" Jennie smirked mockingly. "A slap is a light punishment for touching me!"
"Your damned, ugly woman! I'm doing this for your own good. Don't you understand?"
She was angered. "Stop calling me ugly. I'll fucking send you flying away with my kick."
"Ugly, ugly, ugly!" Jiang Xingnan shouted three times in succession. Jennie immediately rewarded him with a kick and sent him falling backwards into the flowerbed next to them.
By the time Jiang Xingnan stood up, he was covered in flower petals.
His expression was gloomy as he glared harshly at Jennie. "Ugly women, you better wait for this old man!"
Several students passing by appeared to have seen a new gossip. They made spitting noises as they asked in curiosity. "Brother Nan, how did Jennie end up kicking you? You can't even defeat a woman?"
"This old man doesn't hit women!" Jiang Xingnan gritted his teeth.
"Jennie is doomed..." Several students expressed sympathy towards her. "She kicked Brother Nan. The consequences... I bet they won't be as simple as urine pouring from the sky or snakes falling from trees."
"Her old man will show her the consequences!" Jiang Xingnan was enraged.
One of the boys was confused. "Brother Nan, what do you mean by that? Are you planning on punishing her or taking her?"
"The one you're thinking of." Even Jiang Xingnan's backview appeared enraged as he stomped away.
The remaining students scratched their heads in confusion. The boy shouted at him. "Which one am I thinking of? I don't know..."
Krystal was now leaning much closer to them. This time, not only did she record a video, she also caught their voices clearly.
Finally, she left in satisfaction.
With the assistance of this video, the success rate of her strike... would be a hundred percent!
She edited the clip and immediately sent it to Lisa's phone again.
