Surely he wouldn't mind her taking a few minutes to wash her face, right?
However, Lisa assumed she was still trying to reject him at this moment.
The entire time, she had either been refusing him or relying on her great-aunt as an excuse.
He felt his anger rising. The heavy emotion caused his reddened eyes to appear enraged.
Normally, even when he wasn't angered, his frigid cold appearance was sufficiently frightening.
Right now, his rage appeared like a tornado, ready to swallow her whole!
Even the air in the room seemed to solidify.
This time, Jennie took a step back in fear.
Lisa's tall and broad figure stepped forward. His furious self was relentless. "Jennie, are you looking for death?"
"No, please calm down." She spoke gently and took the initiative to hold his elbow. "Lisa, won't you calm down a little?"
Her soft, gentle voice caused him to regain some of his rationality.
He caressed her face and responded hoarsely. "Jennie, don't be afraid..."
She closed her eyes and quietly murmured. "Lisa, I'm not afraid of you."
His frozen heart was instantly moved. He brought her into his arms swiftly.
There were no more opportunities for her to escape!
On this night, the moon shone brightly and the stars twinkled by its side.
The moonlight scattered into the room through the balcony.
The room was engulfed in 'flames'...
As the sky gradually lightened, Jennie glanced at the man who was in a deep sleep due to exhaustion. She was both angry and frustrated.
This was their second time being intimate.
The dried up pieces of the medicine had fallen onto the bed.
Thankfully, there were wet towels on the bedside table.
As she often needed to wipe the medicine off her face, she had kept wet towels with her at all times.
She rested for a while before exerting force to retrieve a few towels. She then wiped her face clean and got off the bed to swipe the dried fallen pieces of medicine from the ground. She finally laid back onto the bed.
For the sake of coming home early, Lisa had spent the last four days forcefully completing five days' worth of work. He had barely rested in the process.
After cleaning her face, Jennie also struggled to keep her eyes open. She tugged the blanket over herself and obediently laid in his comfortable, firm arms to go back to sleep.
The sunlight scattered into the room through the balcony. The warm rays lit up the entire room.
Some time later, Lisa opened his well-rested eyes.
There was a woman in his arms.
He sat up to look at the woman in his arms. He had thought that he would see Jennie's face covered in a medicinal paste. Instead, he saw a beautiful woman laying in his arms.
Her brows were curved beautifully, her nose were thin and sharp. Her eyelashes were thick and charming. Her pinkish lips were also glossy to the point where one could not help but wish to touch them.
Her five features were well-crafted and her beauty was stunning. Even Lisa, who had seen many different women, felt that her beauty could not be described with words!
Lisa had just woken up and needed a moment to respond to this. As he took in the unfamiliar face, despite her beauty, his frigid cold features instantly turned enraged. He directly shoved her aside.
Jennie, who was in the midst of a beautiful dream, was pushed away with force. She nearly fell off the bed. Thankfully, she held onto the edge of the bed.
Her charming, bright eyes were drowsy with sleep. She glanced coldly at Lisa with some anger.
It was early in the morning. Why did he shove her aside? Did he take the wrong medicine?
"Who are you? Where's Jennie?" Lisa demanded. His gaze was heavy with murderous intent, as though he would take her life any moment now.
When Jennie heard this, she suddenly recalled that Lisa had yet to see her true appearance.
