Most normal vases could not hold such a large bouquet of flowers.
She decided to fill a shallow pail with water and place the bouquet in it. She set the pail on the square table leaning against the windows.
The large bouquet of roses was in bloom beautifully. The sunlight spilled in through the window and seemed to add a golden glow to the beautiful petals. She reached into the pail and scooped a little water to pour over the flowers. Drop by drop, the drops rolled down the deep red petals like translucent pearls and made for a stunning sight.
The light fragrance of roses instantly filled the entire room. It was a pleasing sight.
999 roses...
They seemed to represent the eternity she was fated to share with Lisa.
Krystal's beautiful, yet vicious expression appeared in the doorway. She saw that Jennie was actually watering the roses and pursed her lips.
She had intended to send the photo of Jennie's roses to Lisa.
However, she realised that if the roses were from Lisa, she would be delivering a slap to herself.
Ever since the incident where she delivered the blood-stained sheets to Lisa, only to realise that Jennie had climbed into his bed, she grew to become much more cautious.
She deleted the photo of the large, fresh bouquet that was stirring her jealousy.
Krystal decided to let Jennie off this time. She would not take the risk and send the photo to Lisa.
She then glanced at the bag Jennie carried everywhere with her before turning to return to her own dormitory room.
Jennie glanced at her second sister's backview and did not pay her any attention.
She entered the bathroom and closed the door before washing off the medicine on her skin.
She looked at herself in the mirror. The red marks on her gorgeous face had already faded significantly.
Just as in her previous lifetime, Doctor Shi Qian's medicine was extremely effective.
She estimated that the scars would fade completely in three days.
Lisa would return in four days. Did that mean she would be able to welcome him with her beautiful appearance?
She decided that it was best to ask about the details of how he was returning.
She wondered if he would be able to recognise her when she went to pick him up.
The more she thought about it, the more excited she became.
She brought out the small container in her bag and re-applied a layer of medicine on her skin. Afterwards, she laid down on her bed for a short rest.
Krystal stayed in the next-door room and deliberated over the bag that Jennie carried everywhere.
She had asked Wu Jiatong, who similarly lived next door, and confirmed that Jennie stored her container of skincare in that bag.
She absolutely could not allow Jennie's skin to recover.
In fact, this time, acne-like bumps due to skin allergy were not enough to satisfy her.
She wanted Jennie's face to rot and to such an extent that it could never recover!
Thus, she secretly made a call to request for a medicine that could be mixed into a paste. She specified that it had to be a painless medicine that would ruin one's look for eternity.
The person responded that such a medicine would take three to four days to obtain.
Krystal ended the call and smirked viciously. She had more than enough time at hand!
An hour later, during the afternoon break time, Tzuyu and Wu Jiatong stepped into room 201 in dormitory building D1.
"Wow, the roses are beautiful. The entire room smells good!" Tzuyu exclaimed.
Jennie smiled. "Do you guys mind if I store the flowers in the dorm room?"
After all, the room was shared amongst the three of them. If they minded the roses, she could take it back to the Yu Ting Villa.
