She decided to stop worrying about the matter. She abruptly pressed down on his hand. "Lisa, let me do it."

She had already lost half of her life. As he applied the medication on such an 'intimate' area, she was unable to come up with any pleasant thoughts.

"It's almost done." His voice was dark and husky. She felt that she was nearly burned by his heated gaze.

She rushed to remind him. "You promised that you would let me rest for a day. You can't..."

Lisa quickly stood up. He turned and headed into the en-suite bathroom.

Very quickly, the noise of the shower running could be heard.

Jennie was certain that he was taking another cold shower to extinguish the fire.

After last night, they had spent two to three hours this morning together. Yet, his stamina seemed to be infinite. Was he made of steel?

She felt a little heartache. She did not wish to force him to take cold showers.

However, she was certain that she really needed rest.

After struggling for a little while, she decided that she would do her best to satisfy him in the future.

Forget about this time though. Otherwise, his cold shower would be wasted.

In fact, she felt that if he hadn't helped her with the medication earlier...

He wouldn't have gotten tempted so quickly again.

Jennie watched as he stepped out of the bathroom with some heartache. "Lisa, are you all right?"

"Is your heart aching for me?" Although his expression appeared stern and cold, there was a hint of joy in the slight curve to his lips.

Jennie however, could keenly feel his good mood. "Of course I am."

He brought her into his arms and said heavily, with some pelading, "You have to stay like this. You can't change again."

She understood that he was afraid she would avoid him again. "Don't worry. I won't."

He pressed a loving kiss against her beautiful little face. "I have important matters to deal with. Have a good rest at home."

"En." She nodded obediently.

He said 'home'... In his heart, the Yu Ting Villa was their home.

Her mood was especially good as well. She did not ask when he would be back because she was certain he would return the moment he got free.

Lisa's heavy gaze followed her closely. He could not bear to shift his eyes away for a single second.

There wasn't the slightest bit of scarring left on her fair cheeks. Her skin was as fair as snow and her five features were perfectly crafted. She was truly stunning!

He never thought that she would look this gorgeous after losing weight and regaining her original appearance.

It turned out that he had reserved such a precious treasure when he was young!

She lifted his head to watch him and asked in confusion. "Aren't you leaving?"

"I can't bear to leave you." Lisa's feelings were fully exposed in his gaze.

"Hurry and leave now." She nudged him. "I'll wait for you at home."

She would wait for him at home... these words made his heart skip a beat. It was an extremely warm feeling.

He exerted all of his restraint to shift his gaze away from her and gave her a slight nod.

Despite his tall and intimidating figure, he glanced back multiple times with every step he took before he finally stepped out of the room.

Jennie watched the way he seemed to already miss her dearly. There was a faint smile on her lips.

Ever since last night, their relationship had become even better.

Jennie laid down lazily for another two hours.

The medication was indeed very effective. She felt the soreness fading quickly.

After taking another nap, her energy also recovered.

She attempted to move off the bed. Although her legs were still somewhat weak, she was able to walk now.
