Chapter 21

"So it's true? The baby's Vincent's?" Rosie said in a whispered murmur, looking around us as if someone might overhear. Didn't blame her, we are at a pack party so there's a possibility that someone might be listening in. I mean, come on, who doesn't know werewolves and vampires, or should I say 'vampire', have the best hearing in the whole world.

I sigh as the girls wait for my response. Finally, with a little bit of anger, I grit out a "yes" before turning back to my steak, corn, and mashed potatoes. I love food so much.

"Thank the ancestors," Alice breathed, cradling her baby, and my nephew, Jeremy. Alice has been my best friend since I could remember, and I didn't get mad when I found out her and my brother, Paul, were mates.

Sam was my other best friend, and he ended up mating with a beautiful black haired beauty named Robin. They met at a club called 'Luna' on our date. I didn't care though, they deserve each other.

"Yeah, I agree. Everyone thought that you were, well, you know," Stacy agreed. Adrian, my other little nephew, and who looked so much like his dad, Alex, my oldest brother, walked over and gave me a sloppy kiss. I giggled and held him tight. He placed his hands on my stomach in awe as my own baby kicked.

Roxanne, also known as Roxy, nodded. Her mate, Cesar, was the Beta of the Eclipse pack, which was Damon's, my ex-mate.

Jasmine was with Seth, my Third in Command. Ava was the mate of my brother, Derrick. And Celeste was with my other best friend, Emmett.

"Pregnant sex is the best, huh?" Alice teased, smirking. My face warmed as I blushed.

"Okay, can I just say, eww!" Ana pretended to throw up as she made a sour face at the rest of us.

"Yes, it is the best," I chuckle.

"I think I'm gonna throw up." A very, very familiar, and grossed out, voice said in front of me.

"Emmett!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, running to his warm embrace. The day I first arrived Emmett was the first to see me, and boy, were we crying like babies.

"I know, I know, I'm totally hot and sexy, calm down. There's plenty of me to go around," he sighed dramatically. I roll my eyes and shake my head up at him. "What! It's not my fault I was born beautiful!" he yelled to my retreating back.

"He's all yours," I said happily to his mate, Celeste. She looked pissed. Her hair seemed as if it were floating around her in a creepy way as she marched away from him. Hehe, he's in trouble.

"I'm sorry baby, I love you!" he said in his best Cat In The Hat voice. I was laughing hard as he chased after her and ended up falling in the pool. She had to 'rescue' him. I'm putting air quotes around the word because he was in the kitty pool.

"Ugh, you're such a baby sometimes," I grumble to him when they got back.

"You're such a baby sometimes. You're such a baby sometimes," he mimics, in what was supposed to be my voice but really sounded like a messed up girl.

I flip him off, giggling as he pouted and fake cried in his mates neck. She mouthed a 'thanks' and I tip my head to her.

"What're you ladies talking about?" Vincent nearly scared me to death.

"Vincent!" I swat him away as he just wraps his arms around me and sits me on his lap. "You'll never leave my side, will you?"

He sucks on my neck, and mumbles, "Never."

"That's so cute!" Roxy gushes.

"You guys make such an amazing couple," Ava chimes in.

"Agreed," Celeste and Rosie squealed.
