Anthony P.O.V

Searching for Ellie without a trace to lead us to her was the hardest part in finding her, but that little part wouldn't stop us. I walk back to my house feeling tired as hell after another failed search. Opening the door, I walk through the threshold into the hallway and made my way to the place I'd been wanting to be in so long, at least it seems like it, and that's by my mates side.

I close our bedroom door behind me as quietly as I could as to not wake Rosie. It doesn't work. She rubs her eyes from sleep and sits up as I quickly walk to her side, worrying over her.

"Are you okay, babe? Do you need anything? Water? Food? Feel any pains. . . ?"

"Anthony, calm down," she says softly, putting a stop to my questions with a simple kiss. I revel at the way her soft lips molded perfectly with mine. I smile, pull away, examine her round face, short pixie like hair, blue eyes, and soft curves that drive me insane. She looks even more beautiful pregnant with our three babies than ever before.

"Okay, I'm calm, I'm calm. So. . .do you need anything? 'Cause I'll go get you whatever you want."

She giggles. I grin at her and lean in closer, her giggles cutting short at the look I was giving her.

"I mean it, Rose. Do you need anything?"

"No, Anthony. I'm fine, really."

I take a deep breath, kiss her forehead then went to take a shower. After thoroughly washing my body I put some boxers on and finally slid into bed next to my mate who immediately wrapped her arms around me while laying her head on my chest, snuggling up to my body.

Times like these is what I fight for. To be holding a mate that loves me, carrying my pups, and will soon give me my children that I will always protect and love, unlike my father did to me. I knew the path my memories were going away would ruin my mood so I shake my head to get rid of those thoughts.

Rosie sighs tiredly, humming in the back of her throat as we fell asleep in each others embrace.

"Honey, you have to go," she rushes out. "Alpha Vincent needs you on time for the pack meeting."

"But I don't want to go," I mumble against the skin of her neck. "I want to stay with you."

"Anthony." I groan at the warning in her voice. Grumbling under my breath and giving her a kiss, I hurry out of the house.

It took about three minutes to reach the field where today's meeting was held. I search all the familiar faces for my little brother and sister, and when I found them Seth and Ana were with our usual group of friends'.

". . . .but how could anyone blame him?" I heard the end of Roxanne's sentence. Her voice low.

"I don't think I would have stayed sane," Jasmine agrees eagerly.

Ava nods her head in a little movement to show she also agreed. Her mate, Paul, stole glances at her every now and then as the men discussed the same topic. Matter of fact, every male was making sure their mates stayed within their sight.

I would love to have Rosie by my side but lately she has been having sore feet and not feeling too well so I persuaded her to stay home and relax.

But not I don't think it was a good idea because the thought of someone breaking into our home to harm our mate and pups drove my wolf mad with rage. That's not likely going to happen, though, because patrols have doubled in numbers and strength.

"Hey, bro, what's going on? I thought the pack meeting was supposed to be in two days," Seth said uncertainly. I shrug and give him an equally confused expression.
