When we arrived at the West border the Sky pack was attacking my warriors. Growling, I shifted and threw myself at the first wolf nearest to me.

'Don't kill them. If things get too bad then knock them out,' I order the warriors.

'Yes, Alpha,' they respond.

I threw back my head and let loose a territorial howl that sent the werewolves off my territory. My eyes scanned the wolves and landed on the biggest of them; the Alpha. Walking forward I meet him at the border. He wasn't on my territory, but close enough.

We shifted back to our human bodies. Us being naked was something that wasn't awkward at all. Although by the growl I heard behind me I knew Vincent didn't agree.

Ignoring him. "How foolish of you to start something you won't be capable of ending," I said, eyes darkening.

"The female Beta has been kidnapped by your pack. We're not going to just sit back," the Alpha snapped.

"What is your name?"

"I am Alpha Mick of the Sky pack, and what is your name, she wolf?"

I snarled and grabbed him by his throat, slamming him on the floor. "I am Alpha Ronnie of the Shadow Blood pack. Do not disrespect me," I growl.

As he tried to get up his pack took a step forward then Vincent was there, promising in a deadly voice, "Step into our territory, see what happens."

I let the Alpha go. He quickly jumped up and takes an unsteady step back. "M-My apologies, Alpha Ronnie, Alpha Vincent."

"Beta Miles, step forward," I command. A tall, light haired, blue eyed man stepped forward and bowed his head respectfully. "Did you know this was the Shadow Blood territory?"

"No, Alpha. I didn't. Monica said she was from Damon's pack, but she never said where it was."

"Monica's in the infirmary right now," I said.

His eyes widened. "Why? Is she and the baby okay?" He panicked.

"If you wouldn't have attacked my pack blindly I would have allowed you to stand by your mate as she's about to give birth to your child, but I don't trust you to act properly."

He got on his knees, clasping his hands together, tears about to pool over. He had such sadness and desperation in the look he was giving me it almost made me want to give him a hug. Almost.

"Please, Alpha Ronnie, I'm sorry, but I had to. I thought my mate was kidnapped with our unborn child, what would have me do? Go up to the pack peacefully and ask for her back? Not knowing if they were hurt." His voice broke on the last word.

Vincent and I shared a look of sorrow. Yes, we did know what he was going through because it happened to us. We nod at each other.

"Very well, Beta Miles, you will be escorted to the pack infirmary by my Beta." Anthony took Miles away.

"We're not going anywhere without our people," the Alpha said firmly.

"Okay, I get that. You and your wolves are allowed on my territory if only you guys don't try anything, other than that, you're welcome to shift, put your clothes on, and join the Christmas Eve get-together."

I was walking away when he said, "We're going to stay in our wolves."

That made me turn around with a death glare on my face. The wolves shifted foot to foot uncomfortably.

I walk back in front of him as I was talking. "I'm being very, very generous to you and your pack right now. I'm allowing you onto my territory after you and your warriors attacked mine. Usually the wolves that threaten the lives of my people don't last a second in battle."
