"So five, huh? What's the genders?" I ask Bruce. I'm not saying I wouldn't mind having five kids, but all at once - yeah no, not gonna happen.

"Well, I have three boys and two girls," Bruce said proudly, chest swelling.

I stifle a laugh with a cough. Knowing Bruce he'll know something's going on. As if he could read my mind Bruce asked, "What's so funny?"

"Nothing," I said too quickly. He snorts and just stares at me. I groan. "Fine, but you've got to promise not to freak, okay?"

Shrugging, he mumbles, "'Kay."

I take a deep breath to try and get a hold of my humor. Didn't work.

"If I had five babies all at once - I don't think my vagina could handle that."

We stared at each other. Well, I did the staring while Bruce tried to cover his ears with his paws and howled in pain. Okay, truth was, I wasn't only staring, I was laughing my ass off. In a matter of fact I was laughing so hard my dumb ass actually fell on the floor, rolling on the grass and actually coughing my lungs out because of how much I was laughing.

'I think I'm gonna be sick,' Bruce gagged inside my head. Sadly, that only made me laugh harder.

It felt like I was laughing forever until, to my sore stomachs relief, I quieted.

"H-Hey, it's your f-fault," I giggled. The only response I got was an eye roll.

Bruce yawned. "Anyways, what about your little ones?"

Sobered me right up for the exception of small giggles here and there. "Isabella and Zachery, my little hybrids."

"It's nice, you know. Having a mate and family of your own."

I nod along with his words, running a hand through his fur. This all seemed so familiar, Bruce and I just resting on the cliff we've been visiting since we were toddlers, talking about our future and having a good time.

"Let's go for a fun," I spoke up.

"Yeah, just for old times sake," he agreed.

We both hopped up, but there was a problem: "I don't remember how to shift into my wolf," I whispered in fear.

Bruce stood before me, his fur and eyes back to the familiar black-brown I've grown up with. He pressed his huge hairy forehead against mine and looked into my eyes, holding my gaze as he continued to talk.

"Yes you do, Ellie. You're the first female pure blood werewolf from thousands of generations. You're the Alpha of one of the most powerful packs in the world. You're the mother to birth the first hybrids in all of ancient history. Mated to the Vampire King. And Special One to our ancestors; the Cherokee."

With every word my heart beat like the pounding of drums, the spirits aiding, encouraging, me to find the way. To find my own path. Bowing my head, I breathe in and out slowly, allowing the blood of my ancestors to rush through me as a women's voice sang a beautiful song in the distance.

The feeling was so unexpected that I throw my head back and let loose a cry of joy. When I opened my eyes I was looking through the eyes of a wolf.

A howl filled with happiness, joy, and freedom flowed naturally out of me. I face Bruce, grinning from ear to ear. He barked a welcoming hello before turning tail and dashing off into the woods. Yipping excitedly I shot after him, pushing my powerful paws into the ground the faster I went.
