Something wasn't right, why did everything that had happened so far feel wrong? I had only called Lyria here to clarify the misunderstanding with Layla.
But Layla had called the police over? This was not part of our agreement. I was going to give her an earful.
I march my way to her room, lifting an arm to knock against the door but her voice leaves me hanging.
"Where are you?" I heard her ask over the phone. Instantly I hide behind the door, her back was turned to me. I could hear faint sounds from the phone ,but they weren't audible enough.
"Good." she replies, who could she be calling by this hour. It was nearly evening.
"Kill her." I hear her say abruptly, and I still. I can't move for five seconds.
Who did she want to kill?
"Make it look like an accident, I don't want anyone to be suspicious." she adds.
I become furious.
Fear grips me, it better not be who I suspect.
"who do you want to have murdered, Layla?" I ask, coming out of hiding as I approach her.
She turns to me shocked, eyes wide.

I was motionless at the backseat of the car. Guarded on both sides by two hefty policemen.
Or should I say... Thugs?
Yeah, they were thugs sent by my wonderful sister.
Layla.
"she sent you to kill me, didn't she?" I ask, hair flowing in the air from side to side. The car was moving fast and straight ahead, without an aim for a stop.
They're silent at first, but the driver speaks up.
"she told us to make it look like an accident." he yells, staring at me through the rear mirror.
I stare directly into his eyes as I speak, and I could tell what I said next took them by surprise.
"make it quick."
