Threats

I don't remember falling asleep. But waking up, I feel the warmth of a body behind me and warm breaths on my neck. I sit up slowly, as not to wake the sleeping ginger, and look around the room. It's so dusty, I wouldn't be surprised if we got sick after all of this. My eyes dart across the room, falling on the two sleeping bodies on the floor. The female body completely naked. "Oh, jeez.." I mumble, quickly throwing off my hoodie. Unfortunately, I wasn't wearing anything underneath, so my top half is now exposed. I walk over and close my eyes, shaking Asteria's shoulder gently. "Here, put this on." I mutter, holding out the item of clothing to her. "Oh, shit. I'm so sorry, Atti." She responds, taking the hoodie from me. "It's okay, it happens." I respond. "He's fast asleep, by the way." I mention about the twin who'd been curled up behind her. I hear her fumble with the hoodie as she pulls it over her body. I can finally open my eyes. I think. "Okay, you can look now." Her voice spoke, I was right. I open them, the hoodie looks almost like a dress on her, falling just above her knees. "It suits you." I say with a smile, before looking back at the sleeping Fred on the bed, groaning softly as he starts to wake. "Who's talking so loud?" He asks sleepily. "It's your fairy god mother." I retort in my deepest voice. "Time to get up, you have a ball to go to." I joke, grinning as he sits up quickly, sleepy eyes staring into my soul, Asteria laughs loudly. "Atticus, when did you get so.. manly." He asks, looking me up and down, eyeing my naked top half for just a moment. "Should I get the glitter?" Asteria asks, a grin on her face. "We may need more of Tweedledum wakes up." I mention before hearing George groan now as his begins waking up. "I told you we needed more glitter." I retort back in the deep voice. "Never mind." Fred chuckles, crawling out of the broken bed. This had been nice, despite the werewolf in the room, but it's time for us to head back, our roommates are probably wondering where we are by now. Besides, I have news to report to Cedric.

"Why are you wearing Atti's hoodie?" George asks as he gets up off of the floor. "Um, when I transform, my clothes get ripped up." Asteria responded, pointing to a pile of ripped up fabric that resided on the floor. George's face turns bright red in realisation. "I usually bring some spare clothes with me.. but I must've forgotten.." Astra continues. Fred looks over to me, a look of concern on his face. "Aren't you cold?" He asks, raising a brow. I shrug lightly. "A little, but I prefer Astra's decency over me being warm." A moment of silence passes as I see Fred smile. "Enough chatter, we better get back to the castle." Astra mentions, as the four of us begin walking back.

We get a few strange looks as Asteria and I are both half naked, who knows what they may be thinking? We go our separate ways, each heading toward our respective common rooms. I could use a change of clothes after all that dust. I change into my usual Ravenclaw robes and Bandit accompanies me in my pocket before I set off to find Cedric. It doesn't take too long as I follow a flock of Hufflepuffs, adorning rather interesting 'Potter Stinks' badges, toward their champion, who happened to be out in the courtyard.

I walk over to Cedric as my classmates, Harry Potter, does the same, pulling Cedric aside and away from his friends. I don't know what's so important that Harry has to say, so I try to get my two scents in before he can. "Dragons." The two of us say in unison, before looking at each other. "That's the first task." I blurt out quickly. Cedric himself asked me to find out the tasks for him, and I wasn't about to let Potter take that from me. "They've got one for each of us." Harry continues. Cedric looks between the two of us, taken aback. "Are you serious?" He asks. Harry and I nod. "And um.. Fleur and Krum, do they..?" Now, this I don't have an answer to. "Yes." Harry nods again. "Right." Cedric responds, as a few of his friends, also wearing the Potter Stinks badges, berate him for talking to Harry. Cedric sighs. "Hey, listen. About the badges, I've asked them not to wear them, but.." "Don't worry about it." Harry says with a frown before walking off, as Cedric and I look at each other. "Good job, bud." He says, ruffling my hair with a smile. I smile back and join him in sitting with his friends.

One of Cedric's friends was in the middle of a rather funny demiguise story before being overshadowed by a voice behind us. "I don't give a DAMN what your father thinks, Malfoy." That was Harry's voice. We all turn our heads as Potter shoves the Malfoy boy. "He's vile and cruel. And you're just pathetic." Harry continues. "Only I can tell my brother, he's pathetic. You have no right!" Asteria yells back at Harry, defending her brother. "Hey!" Draco responds, looking back in her direction. By now, we and a group of other students had the group surrounded, thinking this may turn into another fight. Draco turns towards Harry, raising his wand as Harry starts walking away. "Oh, no you don't sonny." A voice calls from a few feet away. It's Moody. He shoots a non-verbal spell towards Draco, causing him to transform into a tiny white ferret. Bandit stirs in my pocket. "I'll teach you to curse someone when their back is turned." Mad-Eye growls through gritted teeth. "You stinking, cowardly, scummy-" Moody berates as he moves his wand up and down, causing the ferret to float up and down. "Professor Moody!" Professor McGonagall screeches as she hurries through the crowd. "What are you doing?!" She cries out. "Teaching." Moody responds, continuing to levitate Draco up and down. McGonagall watched the altercation for a moment before the realisation hits her. "Is that a... Is that a student?!" She asks, rather frazzled now. "Technically, it's a ferret." Moody responds, pulling the elastic from Crabbe's pants out before forcing the ferret Draco into them, the whole ordeal was rather hilarious. The crowd laughs as Crabbe let out panicked screams, while Goyle reaches into the pants to get the damned thing out, now I'm not sure if Draco bit him, or if Goyle touched Crabbe's.. unmentionables, but his hand returned from the pants almost as fast as it had entered.

Soon enough, the ferret crawled out from Crabbe's pants leg before promptly turning back into his human self by McGonagall herself. Draco scrambles to his feet, reminding me of Ron's comment from last year. 'What's up, Malfoy, lost your skis?' I laugh silently to myself as Draco's words leave his mouth. "My father will hear about this!" He warned, Asteria mimics his mouth movements, rolling her eyes. "Is that a threat?!" Moody grunts, chasing the Slytherin boy around a tree. Draco and his friends make their escape as McGonagall stops in front of Moody. "I could tell you stories about your father that would curl even your greasy hair, boy!" Mad-Eye screeches. "It doesn't end here!" "Alastor! We never use transfiguration as a punishment." Professor McGonagall scolds him, welp, party's over I guess. Cedric waves to me before walking away, friends in tow.

Now all there is to do is wait for the first task.
