"Just one question, dear. You've been in this post how long exactly?"
She asks Professor Trelawney.
Trelawney is somewhat speechless, as she can't seem to find the right answer.
"Could you please predict something for me?"
Umbridge asks,
"I'm sorry?"
Professor Trelawney asks.
"One teensy little prophesy?"
Everyone is silent.
"Pity"
Umbridge adds, scribbling in her notes before walking away.
"No, wait, wait, no. I think I do see something. yes I do, something dark. you... are in grave danger."
Professor Trelawney spouts.
"Lovely"
Is all Umbridge says before walking away and marking something down on her chart.

Thursday October 5th, 1995
Potions

"You applied first for Defense Against the Dark arts post, Is that correct?"
"Yes"
Snape replies in his monotone voice.
"But you were unsuccessful?"
She questions.
"Obviously."
Snape replies again in the same tone, which causes a few of us to snicker.
As she leaves Snape whacks Ron over the head with a newspaper.

More Decrees were placed on the walls to ruin all our fun like:
No Music it to be played during study hours.
All Weasley products will be banned immediately.
Proper dress and decorum is to be maintained at all times.
The walls were quickly becoming filled.

About a week after Umbridge's interrogation, she begins to make a scene in the courtyard.
She'd ordered Filch to pack Trelawney's things, basically kicking her out of Hogwarts.
A crowd of students had gathered at this point, to witness what was happening.
"Six... 16 years I've.. I've lived and taught here. Hogwarts is my home. You cant do this."
Trelawney cries.
