"They're gonna find out eventually so yeah"

"Ok" She said kissing the top of my head adjusting me on her lap so I was more comfortable "She's dating Lauryn" It all went silent as I think they were trying to figure out who she was "McCabe" Leah continued a collective 'ahhh went around the room before Ella shouted

"WAIT WHAT!"

Everyone was shocked that I was dating someone as they eventually calmed down making our way into the canteen for dinner.

Leah's POV

"Right," Beth said sitting down with the monopoly box in hand ",we all ready for this"

"YES YES YES YOU'RE ALL LOSERS WE WIN, WE WIN" Rosie says jumping up from her seat as Esme, Lauren and Lotte become bankrupt, dancing around the small table in the chill room.

"Alright we get it you win ok" Jill said jokingly as Rosie continued to dance around the table chanting 'we win, we win'

"Right Ro, come on you need to calm down now, got a big game later don't want to tire you out" I said pulling her onto my lap as she danced past me. As I held her there for a few minutes she struggled to stay still until I held one of my hands out for her and she focused on fidgeting with my rings as we all fell into conversation. I could feel Rosie getting more and more tired as I continued to talk to Beth and Lotte about the start of the Arsenal season.

Eventually I felt Rosie snuggle into me as she tried to sleep,

"Nope, come on Rosie. We're going for dinner and then getting on the bus you can sleep on the way" I said, sitting her up as some of the girls went into the canteen to eat.

I took Rosie to an empty table and told her that I would get her something to eat as she sat in a daze, obviously tired, slightly rocking side to side trying to keep herself awake, as I brought her over a bowl with plain pasta and cheese on top, her pre-match meal.

As our table slowly filled up I could see Rosie's bowl gradually emptying as she was eating, still kind of in a daze listening to some of the conversations.

As we all finished our dinner we all made our way out to the bus knowing we had already chosen our seats this morning by taking our stuff onto the parked bus. Beth, Rosie and I had chosen a table of four across from Jill, who promised to be quiet if Rosie fell asleep, and Ellen.

I carried Rosie to the bus giving the camera man a fist bump saying "Tired herself out already this one" as I walked past. I passed Rosie to Ellen who was behind me as I moved Rosie's things so I could sit down before taking her back and placing her on my knee with her shark blanket over her and placing her shark teddy, who had been the claimed mascot for us, in her arms.

Only a few minutes later Beth came bounding on the bus with Millie and Rach letting me know she was swapping seats with Keira, who was right behind her.

"You can just move her legs out of the way don't worry" I said to Keira and she placed her coffee down, she lifted Rosie's legs up and sat down with her bag on the table before placing them back down in her lap.
