The Truth that was kept Secret (Naruto fanfic)

The war has begun

Fuyu's pov

Itachi and I both had recovered from our wounds, the destruction of the Leaf and we've heard about the declaration of war. "This will be all about getting the Hachibi and the Kyubi, isn't it?" I asked.

Itachi nodded. "I think that's exactly what he's after."

"We should get you new clothes." I stated. "I'm not letting you walk around with a ripped shirt."

*timeskip no jutsu*

"I'm surprised we haven't run into Tobi or Zetsu yet..." I muttered. "Could it be they think we're not a threat to them?"

"I don't know, but we should turn that into our advantage." Itachi replied, turning to me.

We found a small town and stayed in a small hotel to discuss what we were going to do. "We'll help the shinobi villages, right?" I asked. "We won't let the Akatsuki take Naruto and the Hachibi jinchuuriki."

Itachi nodded. "We should prepare first." he said. "We can't just jump in without a plan."

"I think Tobi and Zetsu will be busy with preparations. I expect to see a lot of Zetsus when the war starts." I said. "Zetsu clones seems like their best option for manpower to me."

At the end of the night, I had decided to put some chakra in the necklace I got for my birthday last year, to make sure I could use that chakra when I was out of chakra myself. I'd put some chakra in the necklace every night.

Itachi had decided to do the same and I was hoping he wouldn't have to use his Susanoo too much. I had found a way to take some of his blindness away by using medical ninjutsu, but I couldn't take too much away.

That night, I had a peaceful night, laying in the same bed as Itachi, comforted by Itachi's warmth. I wished we could have stayed like this forever, but I knew there was work to do if we wanted to stop Tobi.

The next day, we started training in what we lacked, so I focussed on my offence and speed.

*timeskip no jutsu*

Kai's pov (didn't see that coming did ya? But I just wanted to write this funny scene I had in mind)

"Twelve!" I shouted as I defeated the twelth Zetsu I fought.

Juro looked at me and smirked. "Thirteen." he said, sticking his tongue out. Then he defeated another one and shouted triumphantly "Fourteen!" afterwards.

I cursed under my breath, defeating Zetsu after Zetsu, trying to defeat more than Juro. I mean, were rivals, I need to be better than him.

In the end, it was a draw. We both had defeated 67 Zetsus, leaving the rest to others. "This means we're equals!" I said, but Juro shook his head, chuckling.

"I'm still a better shinobi as you, you know?" he said.

"There's absolutely no way you're better than me." I stated.

"You two never grow up, do you?" Daisuke said with a light smile. "By the way, I defeated 79, that makes me the best."

"But sensei, you've got more experience!" I shot back. "That's unfair for us!"

Daisuke chuckled. "That's true, Kai, that's very true."

Fuyu's pov

Akane snuffled, trying to catch Naruto's scent. "Follow me" she said before she took off. Itachi and I soon followed. She later disappeared and I went into Sensory mode.

My eyes widened when I sensed my father's chakra. "Seems like someone revived the previous Hokage..." I muttered.

"Let's see or they're on our side." Itachi said.

Kai's pov againn

"H-hokage-sama?!" I stuttered as soon as I saw all previous Hokage.

"Isn't Fuyu here?" the third asked.

I gulped. How was I supposed to say she had joined the Akatsuki? "Well, she's..."

I glared at Juro, hoping he could help me out, but he didn't know what to say either. Even Daisuke didn't say a word. "She's..." he muttered.

He was cut off by a kunai with markings landing inbetween us and the four previous Hokage. Two people appeared near it, a girl and a boy.

"Fuyu?!" Juro exclaimed, pointing at the red haired girl. "What are you doing here?!"

"Don't worry, we're on your side." she replied. "Don't tell me we're too late."

"What?! How is it possible he's alive?!" I exclaimed, pointing at the boy I recognized as Itachi Uchiha.

"It's a long story, ya know? I might tell you someday, but we ain't got time for that now." she said. "Where's Tobi?"

"Tobi? You mean that masked guy?" Daisuke asked. "Well, he's--"

"FUYU NEE-CHAN!" I suddenly heared a familiar voice exclaim. I looked into the direction where the voice came from and saw Naruto.

"Naruto...?" Fuyu questioned, looking at the blonde who kept coming closer. Before she knew it, Naruto was standing in front of her, soon followed by Sasuke.

Sasuke's eyes widened as as soon as he saw Itachi. "Nee-san?" he questioned. Itachi just nodded, but I swear I saw a light smile on his face. "How?"

I lost track of the conversation between the two Uchiha's as I overheard a conversation between Fuyu, the Fourth and Naruto. "You look even more like your mother than I remember." the Fourth stated, smiling at Fuyu.

"Thanks, tou-san." Fuyu said. "But can you tell me what happened here before I arrived?"

We all explained her what happened and Jugo and I also said something about our little competition before. "Some things just never change..." Fuyu muttered. "Itachi-kun, Sasuke, Naruto, let's end this."

"Can't we help?!" I asked, frustated.

She chuckled. "I can easily notice you're almost at your limit. Only the four of us and the previous Hokage have enough chakra left to fight Obito."

"But--" Juro protested, but Fuyu cut him off.

"I don't want you to get hurt." she said. "We should be fine, Itachi-kun and I didn't come unprepared, ya know? About Naruto and Sasuke... I could tell them to let Itachi-kun and I do the work, but they'd be too stubborn to listen..."

Hope you liked this chappy! I won't be using the war arc for too long, next chappy will be the fight between Obito as the Juubi jinchuuriki vs Fuyu, Itachi, Naruto, Sasuke and the previous Hokage
