The Truth that was kept Secret (Naruto fanfic)

A bright Future II

15 years later

Itachi and Fuyu had another child after Shisui and she was 12 now. Her name was Emiko and she was a lot like Kushina. She had red hair like Fuyu but onyx eyes like Itachi. She even said 'dattebase' when she was excited.

"I'm going away for a couple days." Shisui said. "I'm going with Mirai and Gai-san to escort Kakashi-san."

"When will you be back?" Fuyu asked.

"Two or three days." Shisui replied.

He waved his mother goodbye and left the house. Itachi was out on a mission, but returned the same day.

"Shouldn't Emiko be home already?" Itachi asked.

"It wouldn't be a surprise to me if she got into trouble again..." Fuyu muttered. "I'll go look for her."

Fuyu started looking for her and eventually found her with Boruto painting the Hokage's faces, having fun. "Having fun up there?" she asked, scaring the crap out of both of them.

"Mom/Aunt Fuyu!" they exclaimed at the same time.

"It was her idea!" Boruto exclaimed, pointing at Emiko. He didn't want to admit it was his idea in front of Fuyu, she was really scary when angry.

"What?! Why are you blaming me?!" Emiko exclaimed. "It was your idea!"

Suddenly, Naruto showed up and grabbed Boruto's wrist. Fuyu decided to step in too and held Emiko. "Emiko, how many times do I have to tell you to stay out of trouble?" she asked her.

"Didn't you prank when you were younger?" she asked in return. "Isn't it something every kid does?!"

Fuyu sighed. "Naruto did used to do the exact same thing..." she muttered.

"See?!"

"It's okay, just don't do it when there's a Kage Summit going on." Fuyu told her softly and winked.

"But it's more exciting with a lot people watching..." Emiko whispered.

"That might be true, but just don't do it on times like this." Fuyu said. "Now let's go home."

Emiko nodded and left with Fuyu. "Bye Boruto!" she exclaimed while Boruto still was scolded at. "But mom, did you do it when you were younger?" she asked Fuyu.

"Maybe I did do it once, but there weren't many people around." Fuyu replied. "Just promise me you won't tell anyone."

"Of course I won't tell anyone!" Emiko stated.

"Then this will be our little secret." Fuyu said.

*at home*

"Where's Shisui?" Emiko asked. "I thought he would be home already."

"Shisui is on a trip with Mirai, Kakashi and Gai." Fuyu replied.

"I see you've found Emiko." Itachi said, he was in the kitchen, making dinner, wearing a pink apron. (Yeah, I made him wear a pink apron, deal with it, he would look fabulous)

Emiko bursted out in laugter, she had never seen him wear a pink apron before. Fuyu had, but couldn't help but chuckle. "Was that the only apron you could find, darling?"

*timeskip no jutsu*

For dinner, they had dango with delicious sauce and spicy rice balls.

"Mom, when will uncle Sasuke come back?" Emiko asked suddenly. "I've never seen him."

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll come back soon." Fuyu said. "He's on an important mission right now, isn't that right, Itachi?"

*three days later*

Emiko's pov

I passed the graduation exam and I wanted to tell mom and dad as soon as possible. "Mom! Dad! I'm a genin now, dattebase!"
"Congratulations sis!" I heard Shisui's voice.

"Shisui nee-chan!" I exclaimed. I often said nee to tease him for his long hair.

"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not a girl?" he asked, sighing afterwards.

"Ah, you know I don't mean it." I said. "Where have you been?"

"With Mirai-chan and Gai-san, I had to escort Kakashi-san." he replied.

Third person pov

"You got to escort the Sixth?" Emiko asked. "That's so cool!"

"Hehe, yeah, it was kinda awesome being able to spent time with Mirai-chan..." Shisui muttered.

"Have you confessed to her?!" Emiko asked. "To Mirai?"

"Huh?" Shisui muttered. "W-what are you talking about?"

"Come on, it's obvious you like her!" Emiko exclaimed, earning both Fuyu's and Itachi's attention.

"I'll admit it's obvious..." Fuyu muttered.

"And I've got the feeling she likes you too." Itachi, winking at his son.

"I-I..."

"Come on Shisui, you've got your father's looks, and don't think I don't know about your long list of fangirls." Fuyu stated.

That same day, Shisui had confessed to Mirai and she had said she liked him too, being happy about the fact he confessed to her.

Sorry for the shortness of this chapter, but I hoped you liked it anyways. (Just to clear things up, Mirai is Asuma's and Kurenai's daughter, it's canon)

Why the pink apron? If Minato can look good in a pink apron, why wouldn't Itachi?
