The Truth that was kept Secret (Naruto fanfic)

A bright future I

Third person pov

After the war, Fuyu and Itachi went back to the Leaf with the other Leaf ninja, but the villagers didn't trust them. They weren't paying a lot of attention towards them though, they desperately looking for their loved ones.

Tsunade had declared that both of them weren't S-rank criminals anymore and that she would hand over her title as Hokage to Kakashi.

Naruto and Sasuke had to take the Chunin exams because both of them were technically still genin, which was causing both me and Itachi to chuckle.

A few months later

Fuyu had told Naruto everything. She told her how she knew she was really his sister from when he was still six to why she left the village and joined the Akatsuki. She didn't saw a point in hiding anything anymore, she thought Naruto deserved to know the truth. 

It was Januar 21, Fuyu's birthday. She was going to have dinner with Itachi, but there was one thing he was holding back. Sasuke had his suspicions and wanted to find out what he was holding back to both her and him. 

He was silently following them through Konoha, when he felt someone tap his shoulder. He turned around and saw Naruto. "What do you want, dobe?" Sasuke asked. "I'm busy."

"With what?" Naruto asked in return. "Are you following Fuyu-chan and Itachi around?"

Sasuke put his hand over Naruto's mouth. "Silent, dobe." he said. "Itachi is holding something back and I want to know what it is." 

"I'll go with you, teme." Naruto stated.

In the restaurant

Naruto and Sasuke silently observed the two lovebirds as they had dinner, using a transformation jutsu to make sure they weren't recognized. "Fuyu." Itachi stated. "I've got something for you, but not here."

Fuyu nodded as they soon payed and left the restaurant. Naturally, Naruto and Sasuke followed them outside, to one of the nearest training grounds, which was abandoned.

Itachi stood on one knee and pulled out a little box. "Fuyu Namikaze, will you marry me?"

Fuyu started blushing like crazy and nodded heavily. "Yes." she said before the two of them kissed. 

'Fuyu nee-chan is getting married!' Naruto thought happily. 'I'm so happy for her!' 

"You can come out now, Sasuke, Naruto." Itachi suddenly said, he had known they were followeing them, but he didn't really care if they were there or not. Sasuke and Naruto stood up and Fuyu immediately started chuckling.

"Why did you follow us in the first place?" she asked. 

"Nii-san was holding something back, so I followed him to find out what it was." Sasuke said, shrugging. 

"I thought so too!" Naruto exclaimed, but it was easy to tell he was lying.

*timeskip no jutsu*

Itachi and Fuyu had gotten married. They didn't have a very luxe wedding, but that's not what they would have wanted in the first place.

A few months after their marriage, Fuyu started feeling a bit sick and went to the hospital when it didn't go away and she didn't know what caused it in the first place. In the hospital, Shizune was the one to examine her symptoms. "Congratulations!" she said. "You're going to be a mother."

"I'm... pregnant?" Fuyu questioned before she started to smile. "I'm going to be a mother, dattebano!"

Back home, she waited for Itachi to return from the mission he was on. "Itachi-kun, it's not gonna be just the two of us in a few months." she said. 

"I'm going to be a father?" Itachi asked, immediately figuring out Fuyu was pregnant. 

"You're going to be father, dattebano!"

"I'm going to be a father..." Itachi muttered as the realization hit him that he really was going to have a child with Fuyu. 

"And I'm going to be a mother, dattebano!" 

*Nine months later*

During the months of Fuyu's pregnancy, she had gotten a lot of - sometimes unwanted - help from others around her, like carrying groceries or bringing her home. Right now, she was walking down the street with Itachi to go to the hospital. On their way, they saw Kurenai with her baby. "Congratulations." she told Fuyu.

"Thank you." Fuyu said. "But does it hurt?" she asked afterwards, referring to the giving birth part.

"OH MY KAMI THIS REALLY HURTS!" Fuyu cried out in pain as she was pushing to get the baby out. She was holding Itachi's hand, but she tightned her grip every time as she had to push.

"Don't worry, it's over." the nurse said, handing over the baby to Fuyu. "It's a boy."

In Fuyu's arms layed a baby boy with black hair and onyx eyes. "How should we call him?" Fuyu asked Itachi. "I was thinking about Shisui."

"You want to name him after Shizui?" Itachi asked. Fuyu nodded. "Then Shizui it is." Itachi said, giving Fuyu a kiss.

This was possibly the cheesiest chapter I've ever written, but I hoped you liked it ^^

Sorry for the long wait and that the chapter isn't that long. One more chapter left, I'll try to update it before I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks, I'll be leaving in three days, so it should be possible
