"Get off me!"
I heard loud bang against the wall and a scream from the room adjacent to mine. I covered my ears to shut everything out but it was no use, the arguing was too loud. A tear rolled down my cheek but I quickly wiped it away, I have to stay strong. This is the second time this week my drunken parents have had a pointless
argument. The shouting got louder and louder till I couldn't take it any longer. I grabbed my coat and put on my shoes and ran out the door.
I didn't know where I was going or what I would do next, I just ran.
I saw a gang of boys, 18-19 year olds, smoking and drinking.
"Oi, babe why don't you come over here with us"I heard one of them say as they walked towards me. The other boys laughed
I ran faster and carried on running till I got out of breath, damn I forgot my inhaler.
It was cold and dark. I checked my phone for the time. 9:42 pm.
Wait, where am i? I don't recognise this place. How far did I run? How will I get back?
I started to panic.
I got my phone out again, maybe I should call home? No, I don't want to go back. Only 15% battery left, oh no!
What do I do?
