Josh opened the door and there stood a large lady with brunette, shoulder-length curls that hang around her face.
"Hello dears." She greeted us shaking our hands.
Emily approached us from behind. "You must be here from Lauren." She said also shaking her hand.
"Indeed I am. My names Judy. I'll take your case while you say your goodbyes." She told us reaching for my suitcase.
Before I could reply Emily had already pulled me into a hug. "I'll miss having you around here Lauren. Good luck, you'll be fine hun. And.." Before she could finish the smoke alarm went off. "Oh goodness the food, good luck Lauren." She said as she hurried off to the kitchen
I turned round to face Josh. I ran up to him, wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "I'll miss you so much." I told him.
"I'll miss you too, how's my deal going to work now?" He asked hugging me back
"Oh, I don't know." I said releasing him from the hug and looking down at my feet.
He kissed me lightly on my forehead and we gazed into each others eye, our faces growing closer. Our lips almost touched before we heard a beep from the car, causing us both to jump back quickly.
"Ummm." He laughed.
I laughed back. "Well, goodbye then." I smiled at him.
"See ya." He replied scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
I turned round and started walking towards the car. I got in and did my seatbelt.
"Ready?" Judy asked, turning round and smiling at me.
"Umm, yeah." I replied smiling back.
She started the engine and I looked out the window to see Josh waving at me from his garden. I waved back until we pulled out the drive way, off to the care home.
