Josh took my hand and guided me downstairs. Did Darius tell them what happened?
"Yes mum?"
"Come say goodbye to Darius and Janice, they're leaving now." Emily replied.
Josh gave a sigh of relief and just glared at Darius, he didn't take his eyes off him. I said goodbye to to Janice and Darius winked at me. I felt sick remembering what he did to me. I could see Josh getting angry again so I held his hand to try calm him down. He turned round to me and gave me a smile.
"You two go get changed, we're going going out for dinner now." Emily said.
"Where are we going? What do I wear?" I asked Josh as we walked upstairs.
"Somewhere expensive so dress like, I don't know, dressy?" He replied.
I laughed. "Dressy? Ok I'll try."
We went in to our own bedrooms and I searched my wardrobe for something nice to wear. I chose a navy blue knee-length dress that flared at the waist and had a small brown belt around it. I also chose some navy blue heels with bows on the front and a headband of the matching colour. I did my makeup with some blue eyeshadow and picked up a blazer in case it got cold. I then curled my hair and was ready to go.
I knocked on Josh'a door to see if he was ready. He was wearing some beige chinos and a white shirt that was unbuttoned at the top. He looked amazing.
"Wow Lauren, you look beautiful!" He said to me.
"Thank you." I replied blushing and giving him a big smile.
We walked downstairs to meet Emily. She wore a black skin-tight dress that went halfway down her thighs and some black heels. She looked great too. We got into the car and drove off to the restaurant. It was Italian. We were taken by a waiter to our table and ordered our drinks. Me and Josh got a coke and Emily got a red wine. For dinner I had a margarita pizza, josh had a spaghetti Bolognese and Emily had lasagne. It was a great night. Emily paid the bill then we headed home in the car.
"Right guys, I'm off to bed. Goodnight. And don't get into too much mischief." She said winking at me.
"Goodnight Emily." I giggled "And thanks for tonight."
"Night mum." Josh said.
We decided to watch a film.
"What about 'the breakfast club'?"
"Never seen it." I said.
"What! You must watch this film! It's a classic."
I laughed. "Ok then."
When the film finished we went up into my room and sat on the bed.
"Are you tired?" He asked me.
"No, I'm not." I answered.
"Good." He said smiling. "Let's talk."
"Talk about what?" I asked.
"Umm, Tell me about your family."
I froze. My family? I guess I could talk to him about it. I've never spoken to anyone about it before. Would he judge me for it? I can't just say no. Well, here goes....
