After I had told them everything the both let out an "Awww"
"That's so cute!" Maddy exclaimed, making me blush.
"You should sooo get with him!" Emma suggested and Maddy agreed.
"But, like I said, I..." I started before I was interrupted by Maddy saying:
"No buts! He's seems genuine."
"We're so totally going to hook you both up, aren't we Maddy?" Emma told me.
"Yep. Invite him shopping with us tomorrow! Then we can meet him." Maddy said, nudging Emma'a arm.
The thought of seeing him again excited me.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course. It would be fun." Emma said.
"Cool." I replied reaching over to grab my phone. Immediately I saw a text from josh already. It read:
*Hey Lauren, how is it there? It hope its going great. It's different around here without you.... x*
He sent a kiss! my heart beat faster. I instantly replied:
*its fine here. I miss you :( I've got 2 friends already, we're going shopping tomorrow. Do you want to come? x*
"Sent." I told them both.
"Awesome!" Maddy replied.
I finished off unpacking the rest of my things while chatting with Maddy and Emma. They were really nice people. After I had finished we went back downstairs. Paul wanted to talk to me again so I went to his office alone.
"Hello Lauren, take a seat, I just need to ask you a few more questions for your files." He told me, taking out some paperwork from a folder and grabbing a pen.
"Apart from having asthma, you don't use another medication, do you?" He asked.
"Nope. I have my inhalers with me."
"Ok then." He said jotting it down on some paper.
"Um, do you keep in contact with your two brothers?"
"What? I've only ever had 1 brother, but he...he died." I asked, confused.
Paul also looked confused. "Are you sure you've only ever had one?" He asked, flicking through my files.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure."
"So the name Daniel doesn't ring a bell?"
"Nope."
"Umm, can you call Judy in for me. I'll talk back with you later on." He smiled, picking up a phone and dialling a number.
I could see his smile was fake. I've never had two brothers, have i? If I have then I have never met the other one. And my parents had never told me about him.
