We ended up in Josh's painting room with his guitar and drum kit in. There were fairy lights hung around the walls which sparkled and lit up the whole room. In the middle there was a small, rounded glass table with a white laced cloth spread over it. On the table were 2 glasses, napkins and a candle lit in the middle.
"Wow..this is beautiful." I stated, looking around the room. He'd obviously gone to a lot of effort to prepare this.
"So you like it?' He asked walking up beside me.
I instantly gave him a tight hug and whispered "I love it"
After we released he walked to the table, pulling my chair out like a gentleman and motioned for me to sit down so I did.
"I'll be right back." He said before hurrying out of the room.
I took a small sip of water from my glass as I waited for him to return. A few minutes later he did, holding 2 plates of food in his hands. He gently placed one in front of me before placing his down for him.
"Spaghetti Bolognese?" I giggled.
"Well it's the only thing I can actually make properly."
I took a bite from it. "Mmm! This is really good."
"I'm glad you like it." He smiled.
For some reason i felt nervous around him, like I had to try hard to impress him. I couldn't help but fall for his bright blue eyes. They were perfect. There was an awkward silence for a minute till he spoke.
"So.." He started, a flirtatious look taking over his face. "Did it hurt?"
"Did what hurt?" I asked, confused.
"When you fell from heaven?" He replied with a cheeky grin.
I couldn't help but laugh. "So is that one of your chat up lines you use?" I felt stupid for not catching on.
"I got plenty, they work everytime." He joked, stretching out his arms.
"I'm sure they do." I replied sarcastically.
"There must be something wrong with my eyes, I can't take them off you." He joked again.
"Wow, that one was impressive." I said sarcastically again still laughing.
"Irresistible right?"
"Well, Is there an airport around here? Or is it just my heart taking off?" I played along.
"That was good, I should use that one."
I laughed again and took another bite of my food. Another awkward silence soon filled the room. I felt nervous around him. My heart beat fast every time i looked at him. I started to think if my feelings towards him were just lust or love.....
