I woke up the next morning late, around 10am. I didn't bother getting dressed yet and went down to get breakfast. Everyone seemed to already be up and dressed so I felt out of place. I quietly walked into the kitchen and put some bread into the toaster.
"Moorrnninnggg!" I heard a familiar voice sing.
"Good morning Maddy." I laughed and turned round to face her. "Where's Emma?" I asked.
"Oh she's in her room getting ready. Still up for today?" She asked picking up an apple and taking a bite.
"Yep." I smiled taking the butter out the fridge and searching for a knife.
"Knives in this drawer." She pointed out, reading my mind.
"Ah thanks." I replied rushing over and taking one out.

After I had eaten breakfast I rushed up to my room to get ready. I chucked on some skinny jeans and a checkered shirt along with some white converse. I did my makeup heavy as usual and tied my hair into a high ponytail. I grabbed my phone off the side and hurried downstairs to meet Maddy and Emma.
"About time Lauren, lets go." Emma laughed.
"Bye girls." Paul called as he walked past.
"Bye." We all said in sync.
"I'll call Josh to meet us at the bus stop." I said reaching into my pocket and dialling the number.
"Good idea." Emma said.
"Hey Lauren." Josh instantly answered. My heart fluttered when he spoke.
"Umm, hey. We've just left, wanna meet at the bus stop?" I asked him.
"Sure, see you in a minute." He hung up.
I couldn't help but smile. I turned round to see Emma and Maddy with massive grins on their faces.
"Look! She's blushing!" Maddy pointed out.
"Awww!" Was Emma's reply.
I raised my hands to my cheeks to cover my blushing. "Stop." I laughed.
We were finally a corner away from the bus stop. I turned round and saw Josh leaning against it, one hand in his chinos pocket, the other on his phone.
"Is that him?" Maddy asked me casing him to look up from his phone.
"Yeah." I replied and waved.
He waved back and started walking over to us. When he approached us he immediately pulled me into a hug.
"Hey." He whispered into my ear. It gave me butterfly's and made me blush again. When we both pulled away I found Emma and Maddy with wide smiles.
"Josh, this is Maddy and Emma." I introduced them.
He shook then both by the hand. "It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to finally meet you too. We've heard a lot about you," Emma said, emphasising on the 'a lot' and winking at me. I felt myself blush even more. I had a feeling today was going to be very interesting....
