*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

I grabbed my alarm clock. 6:30 am. Great. Maybe just a couple more minutes sleep?

I opened my eyes again and grabbed my alarm clock. 7:16 AM!! Shit, I'm going to be late!

I quickly pulled on my uniform, skipped breakfast and run out the door to the bus stop.

*295 bus-10 minutes*

Oh no. Now I'm definitely going to be late.

I waited at the bus stop, the cold wind blew on me. I shivered.

The bus finally came and I went upstairs. I put in my earphones and listened to wake me up by Ed Sheeren. Such a beautiful song.

I felt something hit my shoulder. I turned back to see Ashleigh and her group laughing at me. I turned back around and ignored it.

I heard them mention my name and laugh even louder.

I turned up the volume on my iPod to block them out. I spent the whole 40 minute bus ride trying to ignore them shout abuse at me. But I tried to stay positive.

"Late again Lauren" my form tutor, Mr Wright, said as I walked into form.

"sorry sir" I replied, and went to sit on the table at the back on my own.

I sat there waiting for the bell, while others talked to their friends.

Dylan walked into form, late again as well as usual.

"Dylan, what time do you call this?" Mr Wright said.

He just laughed and went to sit with his mates. He turned back to smile at me, then carried on talking.

I smiled back, his smile gave me a warm feeling inside

Wait, what am I thinking. I don't like him, do i? No, I cant. We're both just so different.

First lesson, Art. The lesson I dread the most. I'm on a table with Ashleigh and Dylan and all their mates.

We're making figure sculptures, I picked mine up from the back of the class and walked over to my table when WHACK! Ashleigh walked straight into me, causing my sculpture to fall to the floor in pieces. Everyone turned round to face us. My face turned bright red.

"wow, you should really watch where you're walking" she sniggered.

I bent down to pick up the pieces of my art work. She bent down too to help.

"you better watch it Lauren" she said and shoved the pieces into my hands before walking off smiling, flicking her long blonde 'extensions' of hair off her shoulder as she walked.

The rest of the day was pretty much the same, more abuse from Ashleigh, another D on my exam. I rushed out of school to the bus stop before anyone else. When I got home I went straight to bed. No one seemed to be around plus I was so tired from the night before.
