After forty minutes of R&B playing from the cd player and Luca moaning about it, we reach the ice skating rink at Beakern.

"Well, here we are. I am ready to break my kneecaps." He half jokes. Luca unbuckles his seat belt and turns to me, looking me up and down like he is trying to read my body language.

"Oh you will be fine, calm down." I reassure him with a smile and step out of the black vehicle; Luca copying. Whenever I leave the car first, he rushes to get out himself like he doesn't want to be away from me for more than three seconds.

We both walk into the arena, Luca holding my hand tightly. The receptionist was rude to us, but at least she didn't recognise us. I place a kiss on Lucas cheek to calm him down when I see his patience slipping away with each word that left the woman's mouth.

"What is your address and emergency contact?" The receptionist asks Luca and I frown at them both. Out of all the skates I have been to, I have never been asked this.

"We are each others emergency contacts and our address is currently this slating rink since that is where our car is parked."

"Are you students?" The woman raises a brow.

"Isn't everyone a student and a teacher? I mean, we all learn and we all teach. So why don't you teach me the prices and I will learn them."

"$ 23 each."

Luca hands some money to the woman, not even bothering to argue with the price. The kiss seemed to calm him down long enough for us to pay for an hour slot and walk away to the skate closet. Since I remember Luca's size from the last time we went skating, I hand him the skates and grab a pair for myself.

"Are you excited?" I ask him eagerly.

"No." Luca replies bluntly to my question.

"Oh don't lie Luca, it's a sin." A chuckle leaves my lips, knowing neither of us are religious.

"I think killing is a sin too, Emilia but you don't seem to mind when I do that." He raises his eyebrows at me.

"Luca!" My head spins around to make sure no one is listening in to our convocation.

"Does it turn you on when I kill people in front of you." He whispers in my ear and my body pushes past him. After a few steps, I turn back around to look at him. "Come on Mr. sociopath. Get on the ice."

As soon I step onto the ring of ice, I skate backwards, trying to warm up my limbs.

"How do you make that look so easy?" Luca shouts from the side of the rink. Once again, the rink is empty.

"Because it is easy. I started ice skating before I learnt fear. So I can do it." I explain to him.

"I am not afraid." He defends him self and rolls his eyes.

"Then skate backwards." I challenge Luca and cross my arms. I look over at him from the middle of the rink to the entrance where he stands.

He lets go of the side and skates over to me, better than last time. "Oh, I will." His body turns away from me and he goes to skate backwards. He doesn't even get a foot away before tripping over his own feet. His arms come out as he is about fall backwards. I grab his arm to pull myself forward and I slip down onto my butt to slide my legs under his head.

"You idiot! You would have split your head open." I look down at his head laying on my lap.

"You told me to do it." He laughs at me and I roll my eyes. "Thank you."

"For what?" My eyebrow raises.

"Saving me." Luca replies with all seriousness.

My gaze stays on his thankful eyes.

"You are welcome."

He sits up from my lap and wraps his arms around my thighs, pulling me into his lap instead of him being in mine.

"What're you doing." My lips curve up into a smile.

"Shh." He pulls me even closer to him and kiss my lips. His right hand goes from my left thigh to my hair. It  tangles up in it, trying to use the strands to pull me closer.

I open my mouth a small amount in between kisses, giving him more room to kiss me deeply with lips and tongue. I start moving my hips against his but before It goes any further, which is probably for the best, we get interrupted.

"Emilia?" A familiar voice speaks from across the rink.

Who is interrupting us right now? I roll my eyes and look over at the person, so does Luca.

At first, Luca tries to make me ignore the voice, holding me tightly to him but I manage to escape his lips to turn my head, not that I really wanted to.

"Olivia?" I remove my hands from Luca when I see the girl. Quickly, I stand up and skate over to her.

"I haven't seen you in like a month girl. Is the news true?" Olivia frantically questions.

"Some of it is rue." I nod at her. "Have you transferred back to Beakern?"

"No, I am just visiting my grandparents for the weekend. I thought I would get some training in. My parents rented out a cabin just ten minutes away and then bailed on me for work." She explains. "Sorry to interrupt your... training." Olivia laughs.

"Oh, it is fine."

"You look completely different!" She touches my hair."You ran away with him?" Olivia looks  over at him. "He is hot."

For some reason, my stomach knots when she calls him hot. "Yeah that is him."

"Do you need help? Some people are saying it's a kidnapping." She whispers dramatically.

"No! no I am fine."

"Good." She winks. I can tell she doesn't believe he kidnapped me.

"Actually, I would really appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone you saw me."

"Of course! I like your hair, I almost didn't recognise you at first. And the freckles... cute!"

"Thanks. The dye is already fading, I will be blonde again soon I think."

"You suit blonde better anyway. Are you going by Emilia or something else?"

"Emily is fine." I smile at the girl.

"Okay, Emily. So.... do you guys need somewhere to stay for the night? It is just me in this really creepy cabin."

"Uhm, I will ask Luca."

"Oh, yeah totally." She nods. "You know, I miss the blonde. We done the barbie and bratz routine for that competition and now we are both bratz." She laughs. "Or maybe you are more monster high with crazy boy over there."

Before I can answer her, Luca skates over to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"We were just talking about you." Olivia tells Luca.

"You were?" He looks down at me.

"Olivia was just wondering if you would want to stay at her cabin for the night?"

"With who?"

"Just us three."

Luca takes my hand and skates me a few feet away from Olivia.

"Are you sure about this? Can you trust her?" Luca asks me.

"Yes. She completely believes you didn't kidnap me." I nod and hold his hands. "And I promise, if anything goes wrong I will go straight to you and we can leave."

"Okay."
