It was 2 p.m. when I finally woke up, noticing that Walker was still asleep. My head throbbed from last night's activities.

I washed off the remnants of my makeup, brushed my teeth, and took some painkillers to help with the headache. I lay back in bed, scrolling through my phone and discovered some new edits of me and Walker, along with a surge of new followers.

Walker stirred and mumbled, "Good morning, sleepyhead," as he turned towards me.

"Headache or just tired?" I asked, continuing to scroll. "Both," he groaned. I got up and handed him some painkillers and a water bottle. "Take these. Do you have a fever or anything?" I asked, checking his forehead.

"Just a headache," he said, taking the medication and heading to the bathroom.

"You should wash your face and wake up," I suggested, returning to my bed. I resumed scrolling through TikTok while he was in the bathroom. When he came back, I asked, "Wanna watch something?" as I grabbed my iPad.

"Sure," he said, settling next to me.

"Let's watch *The Grinch*," I said.

"Sure, but why?" he asked.

"It's December, silly," I replied with a grin, starting the movie.

"Hey, I'm kinda hungry," Walker said.

"Me too. Can we order something? Oh my god, let's order Wingstop. I want to try it so bad!" I begged.

"Sure," Walker replied. "There's one nearby. Want to walk?"

I immediately got up, slipped on my Crocs, and grabbed a blanket since it felt cold outside. "Let's go," I said, opening the door.

Walker looked at me and asked, "You're going out like that?"

"We're just getting food. It's not a fashion show. Now, I'm hungry, let's go!" I said, stepping out.

While walking, I switched to my fan account on my phone, updating it about the premiere and interacting with my mutuals.

"Obsessed much?" Walker said, peeking at my phone.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "No, I have to update and post about the premiere. I have a famous fan account," I replied, continuing to reply to messages and story replies.

At Wingstop, I told Walker, "Hey, order for me."

Walker approached the counter and said, "Hey, I'll take 10 Traditional Hot wings, 10 Garlic Parmesan wings, and 10 Lemon Pepper wings. Side of seasoned fries, and let's add both ranch and blue cheese dressing for dipping. Oh, and can we get that to go? Thanks."

I stepped outside to answer a call from my mom. "Hey, Mom, how are you? I missed you!" I greeted warmly.

Her response was cold and angry. "When are you coming back?" she asked.

"Tomorrow, I believe. Why?" I replied.

"Okay," she said abruptly and hung up, leaving me puzzled.

When I returned to Walker, he noticed my unease. "Everything okay?" he asked with concern.

"I don't know. She sounded upset and just hung up. Maybe I'll figure it out when I get back home," I said.

Walker placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "Come on, the food's ready," he said, leading me to the table.

As we ate, I couldn't stop thinking about my mom's sudden change in tone. "Do you think she found out about you?" I asked. "Maybe it was the premiere photos she saw with you?"

"I don't know, but it doesn't matter right now. It's going to be okay. Don't overthink it. Maybe she was just wondering when you're coming back and had a bad day," Walker reassured.

"I don't know; it's weird," I replied.

"Don't overthink it," he advised again. "Now, eat," he said with a smile and began sharing a story.

The rest of the day, I tried to enjoy hanging out, but my mind kept wandering back to my mom. Walker probably noticed the pensive look on my face.

"Hey, you okay?" he asked, nudging my shoulder with a worried expression.

I looked at him and smiled, "Yeah, just thinking," I said, pausing between each word.

Leena suddenly exclaimed, "You guys, I just found the perfect dress for summer, oh my god!"

Walker rolled his eyes and said, "Why are you including me? I don't care about dresses."

I chuckled and said, "Show me."

Walker started smiling and looked at his phone, texting someone. "You guys, I'm kinda tired. Can we go?" I asked.

"Dad's going to pay, and we'll head home soon," Tanner said.
