Game Night

~Will POV~

I stared at the ceiling of my room.

"Are you still hung up over that guy? He dumped you two months ago and you two weren't even good together." Leo said.

"It takes time to heal a broken heart." I countered.

"This is pathetic. You're coming to game night with me." He said.

"What? No." I protested.

"No choice. Get dressed." He told me.

{Half An Hour Later}

"Guess who's arrived and brought a guest!" Leo announced as we walked into someone's dorm.

"Do I count as a guest? You forced me to come or you'd change the locks on our dorm. Again." I said.

I recognize a few of the seven people in the room from around campus. Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, Frank Zhang, Hazel Levesque, and Jason Grace. There was one boy I didn't recognize. Raven black hair, dark chocolate brown eyes, pale olive skin, and an overall emo style.

"Jason, Piper, Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, Frank, and Nico." Leo said, pointing to each one. "Will."

"I don't want to be here either." Nico told me. "Jason and Hazel drag me."

{A Bit Later}

We all sat in a circle around like six Monopoly boards and a deck of Uno cards.

"Why are there so many boards?" I asked.

"Chaos." Percy replied.

"What are the rules?" I asked.

"Try not to murder Percy for creating this version of Monopoly but if it goes longer than four hours murdering him is allowed." Nico, who sat to my right, said.

"He's joking." Jason, who sat to my left, said. "No one's killing Percy."

"Don't say no one. I might." Nico replied.

"Okay then! Let's get started!" Annabeth said.

Within moments of the game starting, everything devolved into screaming. Nico kept giving me this look. Is he gay? No one's ever looked at me like that platonically and no straight guy would wear such tight clothes. He's cute, very cute.

{An Hour Later}

"On the couch, Di Angelo!" Leo said, pointing behind us. "You're out!"

Nico got up and plopped on the sofa. He huffed. I felt something hit my back as I rolled the dice. I moved my piece and landed on Piper's property.

"Oof...you're out." Percy said.

"On the couch, Solace!" Leo said.

I got up and sat on the sofa. Nico smirked at me.

"You kicked me." I said.

"Yeah. Well, I wanted to talk." He replied. "So...do you have a girlfriend? Or a boyfriend?"

I frowned.

"No, I got dumped not too long ago." I said. "That's why Valdez dragged me along."

"Good." He noted.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Good for me." He clarified. "No one to kick my ass when I ask, do you want to get out of here? I don't want to be here, you don't want to be here. We're already out, they won't notice."

I glanced at everyone on the floor. They did seem too preoccupied to notice us.

{A Few Minutes Later}

~Jason POV~

"Valdez! Couch!" I said. "You're out!"

Leo got up and looked at the couch.

"Where'd Nico and Will go?" He asked.

"They left a bit ago. Thought no one noticed." I shrugged. "They're not coming back tonight."

{The Next Morning}

~Will POV~

I yawned and tightened my grip around the guy in bed next to me. He chuckled and shifted to look at me.

"Good morning." I said.

"Morning." Nico replied. "You're an after sex cuddler. I didn't think people actually did that."

"Something's wrong with most of the guys you've been sleeping with then." I said.

"Yeah." He smiled. "I like after sex cuddling better than being ditched."

He ran his thumb over my tattoo. Then he pushed himself up and climbed on top of me.

"Feeling up to round 2?" He asked. "Pun intended."

"Think you can take a second round?" I asked.

He rolled his eyes and started grinding against me.

{A Couple Hours Later}

Nico pulled my shirt collar to bring me down to his level, smashing our lips together.

"Call me? Okay? I don't like being fucked then ditched." He said.

"I'll call you later." I said. "I really want to see you again."

He kissed me again, this time leaning against me.

"I should leave before you get too deep with those kisses." I said. "Otherwise I'll never leave."

"Yeah." He sighed. "Just call me."

"I'll call you. Promise." I told him. "I'm not letting you get away."

{About A Week Later}

My phone buzzed.

Coming to game night?

Me
Yeah
Maybe this time you and I won't lose so fast

Nico
No biggie if we do
We can just go to my dorm again

Me
Sounds like a plan

Nico
How about a second date?
Tomorrow?

Me
Yeah

Nico
We can get lunch at noon tomorrow when we inevitably end up losing tonight and leave early

I chuckled.

Alright
But if we don't lose, I'll swing by your dorm and get you at 11am

I'm so glad I went to that game night last week.
