(Apollo makes an unexpected visit to Will and Nico.)

~Nico POV~

"She's so cute!" Will squealed, holding the baby.

"Don't get attached, Tesoro." I told him.

"Too late! Already am!" He replied.

I groaned and looked at his father.

"Why the fuck did you bring a baby?" I asked. "And how the fuck did you get hold of a newborn?"

"I knew my son would be excited about her." Apollo said but muttered something after.

"What was that, Apollo?" I asked.

"Her mother died in childbirth." He cleared his throat. "I scooped little Delilah up before they could send her into mortal foster care."

"...you stole a baby...?" Will asked. "I don't wanna be an accomplice to kidnapping!"

"No! She's mine. I proved it and they let me take her." Apollo said. "I was hoping you two could take her to Camp Half-Blood for me."

"Camp doesn't have anything for babies." I told him. "they've never had to deal with such a young demigod."

He frowned.

"We can take care of her!" Will volunteered.

"What?" I asked.

"Just until Chiron figures things out." He added. "Then we'll give her to camp."

He gave me puppy dog eyes and a super cute pout. My resolve crumbled.

"Fine." I sighed. "I'll Iris message him. Give me like 10 minutes."

Will kissed me. When he pulled away, he grinned like an idiot.

"You're doing most of the work." I noted. "I don't want baby puke on me."

For some reason, he took that as an invite to force Delilah into my arms. Apollo laughed then disappeared in a flash of light.

"She's so cute!" Will repeated, cooing at the baby in my arms. "You two look adorable together!"

I groaned. Why me? Why must I be in love with such a loving idiot?

"Take her back. I don't want her." I said, trying desperately to hand her over to Will but he walked away.

"I need to go grab some things from the store!" He said, grabbing his keys and jacket. "You'll be fine with her!"

Then he left. I'm going to kill him when he gets home.

"I don't even like children, why does he do this?" I muttered.

Delilah stared at me and giggled.

{A Couple Hours Later}

"Have you moved?" Will asked.

"No! I don't know how to hold a baby so I'm scared I'll drop her!" I snapped. "Where were you for so long?!"

"I was buying baby things!" He said, holding up three bags. "Formula, bottle, diapers, wipes, a couple newborn onesies, baby books, and other stuff too."

He looked at me, a crooked smile on his face. I glared at him.

"Want me to take her?" He asked.

"Yes!" I snapped.

He laughed and took Delilah. He cradled her like he'd held tons of babies before. He probably has. Will has a lot of nieces and nephews since he has lots of siblings.
