(Percy is a very confused man. Annabeth mentions an event Piper and Hazel are planning for Will and Nico that makes Percy a little unsure of what he heard. ⚠️Percy being dumb⚠️)

~Percy POV~

"We need to go to the store and get a gift." Annabeth said. "But we don't even know...nope, I'll just get something neutral."

I gave her a confused look.

"Wise girl, what are you on about?" I asked.

"The baby shower. Duh." She said.

I froze.

"...what baby shower?" I asked.

She glared at me.

"Me and the girls have only been talking about it for the last seven months, Seaweed." She huffed.

"Which one of the girls is pregnant?!" I said. "And why didn't I know?!"

She rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips.

"The baby shower isn't for one of the girls." She said. "It's for Nico and Will."

I froze again. Aren't they both guys? Last I checked they were both guys. Did I miss something? I don't think I did.

"Just get up." She said.

{An Hour And A Half Later}

I looked around the Di Solace house a bit. There were ultrasound photos on the mantle with their other important photos. I'm so confused. They're having a baby?! Er...no. It looks like twins in the ultrasound.

Keys started to jingle at the front door and Hazel shushed everyone. The door opened. Frank set off a confetti popper. A very tired Nico jumped back, falling into Will's arms.

"Welcome to your baby shower!" Hazel said.

Nico blinked back his exhaustion as Will smiled.

"You didn't have to do all this but thank you." The son of Apollo said, looking at the mess of decorations and baby stuff around the house. "This is so nice."

He gave Nico a squeeze as the smaller boy nodded.

"We have lots of things to do so we need to get started! We've got games and sweets and gifts and a gender reveal!" Piper said.

{An Hour Later}

Will popped the first party popper and pink confetti flew everywhere.

"A girl!" He said. "Yes!"

He kissed Nico's cheek. The son of Hades laughed and kissed him before popping the second popper.

"They're both girls!" Will said.

Nico laughed as Will hugged him. Will picked him up and spun him. Nico squealed.

"Put me down or I'll puke on you!" Nico snapped.

{Some Time Later}

I poked Nico's shoulder. Groggily, he looked up. He yawned.

"Congratulations." I said. "You're...uh...glowing...I think?"

He chuckled and smiled.

"What?" He asked, amused.

"I mean- I assumed- since you're tired and Will isn't- And earlier you were nauseous-" I stammered out. "Fatigue and nausea are big pregnancy symptoms."

He laughed.

"Percy, do I look pregnant?" He giggled.

"...no." I said.

"Because I'm not." He said. "I'm a boy. I'm tired because I stayed up with the surrogate last night. It's her first time being a surrogate so she's having a hard time."

"The...what?" I said.

"Surrogate mother. The woman Will and I hired to carry the babies." He said. "Apollo used my DNA to create a couple eggs then Will and I had the eggs fertilized with Will's sperm and hired a surrogate to carry the babies."

I stared at him.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm not explaining again." He yawned.

Will came over and handed Nico a cup of coffee.

"What's going on over here, Neeks?" Will asked.

"Percy thought I was pregnant." Nico chuckled, sipping his coffee.

Will smirked.

"You're kidding?" He said then looked at me. "Did you really think that?"

My face started getting warm from embarrassment.

"I'm...going to talk to Annabeth." I said.
