~Will POV~

I tapped aimlessly on my desk, glancing at the boy sitting beside me. He looked away as I looked at him. I smiled at him but only got ignored.

So cute...

Niccolo Di Angelo. One of the cutest boys at school...atleast in my opinion. A lot of people think he's weird, creepy, and just all around freaky.

"Mr. Solace. Pay attention." The teacher, Mr. Brunner, said.

"Hm? Sorry. I got a little distracted." I said, staring down at my paper.

Di Angelo chuckled.

"Airhead." He mumbled.

"Do you have something to say to the class, Mr. Di Angelo?" Mr. Brunner asked.

The boy's face went red and he shook his head. Snickers, giggles, and chuckles erupted from the other students. Di Angelo just put his head on his desk and let out an audible groan.

The bell rang and Di Angelo was the first one out of the classroom. I stepped into the hallway and frowned. The ravenette was already hidden amongst the crowd of students.

"Will!" Cecil called.

He waved at me from beside Lou Ellen.

I smiled and walked over to them.

"What were you looking for?" Lou Ellen asked.

I shrugged.

"Just someone." I said. "What's up?"

"There's a new rumor." She said. "It involves you. A little bit."

"I don't care what people say about me." I said. "A rumor's a rumor. They're nonsense."

"It's not what they're saying about you, the rumor's about someone else." Lou Ellen said. "You know that Niccolo Di Angelo guy?"

"Lou, I don't care about rumors." I said.

"He's gay!" She said. "Someone found out he's gay and has a huge crush on you!"

I stared at her. Cecil eyed me.

Is she joking? Is the rumor false? Is it true? It can't be. I mean...Di Angelo is definitely gay. He's a twink. He looks gay but I thought maybe I was getting the wrong signal. He likes me?

{The Next Day}

I got to class a bit earlier than usual. The room was empty except for one boy.

I sat at my desk, glancing at Di Angelo. He played something on his phone. Resting my chin on my palm as I watched him. He brushed his hair out of his face, tapping away at something on his phone.

I wonder if that rumor's true...

"Hey." I said.

Di Angelo ignored me.

"Hey." I repeated.

Ignored again.

"Hey!" I said again, a little louder.

Ignored a third time.

"Di Angelo!" I said.

"Shut up, dumbass." He spat. "I don't care."
