(Nico gets injured during sword training, unfortunately the head medic hasn't been in the sun at all so his powers are a bit weak.)

~Will POV~

I rubbed my temples. So much paperwork. I haven't even been able to take a walk. My energy's running on empty and I already know my powers are dwindling at their lowest. My sunlamp broke so I'm completely screwed.

"Hey, Will..." One of my little brothers said, poking his head in my office. "Um...are you having a bad day...?"

I can't even pretend to be cheery.

"Yes. Why?" I groaned.

"Uh...it's about to get worse..." He said. "Your boyfriend was helping teach a swordsmanship class and one of the campers...stabbed him."

He cleared his throat.

"All of the other medics are scared to touch him." He added.

I sighed and followed him. A kid was sobbing down the hall.

"I'll be fine." I heard Nico's voice. "I've gotten worse cuts."

Once around the corner, I wished I weren't such a nice person.

"Austin's no longer allowed to teach about sword wounds." I stated.

I started disinfecting the slashes on Nico's thigh and side. He kept making small noises whenever I touched one of the two wounds. I had him hold a towel over each as I grabbed some other supplies from the cabinet.

"Tesoro, you look a little...colder, more dull than usual. Like a wilted, no pun intended, flower." Nico said. "Have you been outside since this morning?"

"Haven't had the chance. Don't worry, you'll be stuck outside with me the rest of the day." I told him. "I don't have enough power to heal you completely, so you'll need stitches. They shouldn't be in more than a day. Once I'm recharged, I'll finish healing you. You'll have to take it easy today though."

"So you're going to watch me." He sighed, pretending to be upset.

He smiled at me.

"Oh, and you're not allowed to help Chiron teach swordsmanship anymore. You get injured too much." I told him. "Doctor's orders."

He huffed. I looked at the kid crying next to Nico's cot.

"Not your fault. Nico's just got a bad track record with that class." I said.

{A Bit Later}

The kid left once I finished bandaging up Nico.

"I need to change clothes." Nico said.

I scooped him up, bridal style. He yelped, squirming like a fussy little kid.

"I can walk." He said.

"You are injured." I stated.

After a couple seconds, he put his arms around my neck and leaned against me. I could've sworn he had a small smile on his face. I carried him through the camp, trying not to jostle him too much. By the time we reached his cabin, he was asleep.

"Oh, Neeks..." I smiled.

I sat him on his bed and his eyes opened.

"You're still so cozy..." He yawned.

He tried to stretch but winced and stopped.

"Oww..." He groaned.

"Be careful, Sweetie." I told him.
