~Nico POV~

I yanked open my locker, falling back and knocking into someone walking past.

A person said something as they squeezed my shoulders. I looked up to see a cute blond boy smiling down at me. My mind went completely blank.

"Huh?" I asked, dumbfound.

"I asked if you're okay?" He said.

{A Few Months Later}

I kissed Will, playing with his curls. He leaned his forehead against mine and smiled.

"You're hair's so soft." I giggled.

I kept playing with Will's curls. He laughed and held my waist. I scooted onto his lap, kissing his cheek.

"Aren't you two just the cutest?" Someone said.

I looked at the door then nuzzled my face into Will's shoulder.

"Mom!" Will said. "I thought you were working late."

"I got someone to fill in for me." The woman said. "Now who's this little darling?"

"This is Nico." Will said. "My boyfriend."

"How cute! Nico, do you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies?" Will's mom asked.

I shook my head, confused.

"Any texture issues?" She asked.

"Um..." I mumbled. "I...uh...can't eat anything soggy. Like chicken with too much sauce."

Will repeated what I said.

"So you wouldn't mind casserole?" His Mom asked.

I shrugged. I heard footsteps walk away and Will nudged me.

"She's gone. Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Yeah, just a little nervous." I said.

"Mom has no problems with the LGBTQ+ community." He said. "She doesn't care that I'm bi and-"

He stopped himself.

"Nevermind." He said. "The point is, she doesn't care that I'm dating a boy as long as I'm happy."

{The Next Morning}

I slipped into the passenger seat of Will's car and smiled at him. My smile quickly faded when I saw his expression. He looked nervous and worried about something.
