"Y/N where are we?"

"No clue. Some island. Seaman John is nowhere to be seen."

"I don't mean to sound harsh but he's probably dead. He drowned."

You sighed, and kept walking along the coast line, counting how big it was and also feeling for what was on this bloody island. But everything was eerily quiet.

"How did we survive? Those waves were huge, and I don't even remember swimming."

"You're welcome!"

You jumped at the new voice inside your head.

'What the fuck?"

"Oh relax you are so jumpy, I saved your ass. You're welcome by the way."

Who the hell was talking in your head?

"You are either very stupid or your memory leaves much to be desired. Do you really not remember who I am?"

You looked to Yoru, he was currently in his snake form, meaning he was exhausted and much of his energy was drained. He shivered around your neck.

But then you felt it. That dark energy that was all consuming, dangerous and ancient.

"You!" You breathed out in a gasp. This being was responsible for your friend's death, and also the reason why most of the people you knew and cared about didn't remember you.

"Ah so she finally remembers me. I am touched. Truly. But you may want to find a place to hide we're about to be spotted. And where I got us to, isn't exactly friendly."

You were about to ask how this thing knew that, but you soon felt the vibrations of the earth. Quickly finding a tree you climb as high as you could pulling some of the branches closer to hide yourself better. Holding your breath and remaining incredibly still.

What looked like dinosaurs, had people on them. There was one person who you recognized, and not because you ever personally met him, but because of his bounty poster.

Basil Hawkins, what the hell? He came to a halt on his dinosaur and looked around gazing in the area that you were currently hiding in.

"Okay for real where did fuck face take us to?"

"Hey! The last time I was out and about this place was safe and secure. But I can only know what my host knows. So little doctor what do you know about Wano?"

Wano? Did he just say Wano?

"Fuck." You breathed low and focused on the pirate who was on the beach.

He looked around again.

"And this is where the lookouts say they saw a figure flying and crashing down to?"

He asked the men that were with him, at a closer look seemed to look funny. Like they were part animal.

"Yessir. Maybe it got washed away with the tide? It does get pretty high over here, it's one of the reasons why the citizens don't venture out over here when the sun goes down."

"Hmmm."

You didn't like how observant Hawkins was, you hoped he'd just leave and then you could get your bearings, and figure everything out about Wano.

Nothing was known and for good reason. This was the dwelling of The King of Beasts Kaidoh. You weren't even sure if news traveled to this place. Or if it did, it was probably very limited considering who was in charge.

"Mr. Hawkins whatever is was probably drowned there was a massive storm last night. I mean the look out tower was torn apart and everyone inside is gone."

The pirate was still looking around, his eyes scanning everything, including where the trees were. You held your breath and hoped they'd leave soon. Your arms were killing you.

'You'd think all that strength training that Garp fellow made you do would come in handy for situations such as this.'

By the seas you wanted to tear this entity apart.

'Yeah...good luck with that one.'

Keeping your focus on the people on the beach you noticed that Basil Hawkins was starting to leave, he gave one last glance behind him, and then trotted away.

Releasing the air from your lungs you waited another 5 minutes before climbing down.

"So we're in Wano. A member of the Worst Generation is working under Kaidoh, and to make matters worse I don't know anything about this place."

'Give me a form, and I will slink between the shadows and show you.'

Your anger spiked and your heart roared but you felt Yoru's squeeze and he felt it was the best option. All of a sudden, your mind wasn't your own, your actions were stunted and you were surrounded by a darkness that you were incapable of feeling or seeing anything even your own hands.

Your voice was gone as well, you couldn't feel Yoru either, that is what scared you the most. You started to wonder if this is what Hell was like, not a Fire Inferno but just blackness, a suffocating darkness that stole everything from you but left you conscious to feel it all.

Then without warning images flooded you brain, people starving, dying from sickness, soldiers taking advantage of those that were weaker than them, delighting in the pain that they were causing, you heard conversations, several at a time, about what the rules, laws and expectations were. Once the slimy bastard restored himself back into your mind you felt nauseas and your head pounded like a drum.

"Well little doctor what are you going to do with all this information?"

What could you do? You needed to find a way to get out of this country, but from what you saw in those images that was basically an impossibility.

"Well...shit."

Oh my lord hey guys it's been a hot minute since I updated this story, life has been chaotic and stressful and I haven't felt the motivation to write anything for a while. But I felt like giving this story some love again. The next few chapters are going to feature Koby and how he is trying to find reader and do his duty. Sorry this chapter was so short, the next one should be my normal length.
