"I've been looking through your family's case," Sheriff Grayson said tossing a thick file folder onto her desk, "And wow."

"Wow?" Caitlyn asked, "What's so crazy?"

"Your great-great grandparents stole that jewel. Then it was passed down for generations. I couldn't figure out what family they stole it from, but I want to assume it was from Silco's family."

"Silco doesn't have family," Caitlyn said talking a sip of her rum and coke, "I've done some digging as well, sheriff. Not on my family, but Silco's. He was thrown in an orphanage at two weeks old and never adopted. Probably why he was such a bitter queen."

Grayson almost spat her drink out, "Now, now."

"What? It's true."

"That may be so, but he could have his reasons. You see, the Kirammans were also of mafia blood. That means you are of mafia blood. The last living Kiramman."

"My family was filled with amazing businessmen, sheriff. You have to be shady enough to be good enough. You should know this. It doesn't surprise me that my family was the... 'Piltovian Mafia'. It doesn't surprise me that my ancestors stole something to make themselves something."

"You're telling me that you did research on your own family?"

"Yes. That is exactly what I'm telling you. I wanted to know why someone as greedy as Silco would kill my entire family whom I thought was innocent. It turns out that none of us are innocent. I'm not some stupid kid, I know my facts. I could win an argument with a brick wall."

"You seem like you could, no doubt in my mind."

"So what are you going to do? Arrest me?"

"No, you've got it all wrong. Arrest you is not something that even went across my mind after hearing your name. The fact that you are mafia blood makes you higher priority than the council."

"Criminal blood makes me high priority?"

"Yes. It makes you strong. Strength is something that is not frowned upon here. Your family was the strongest mafia in Runeterra history. They started off being thieves and ended off being billionaires. I believe that not everything done illegally is bad."

"Like smoking weed? I'm desperate to make that legal."

Grayson chuckled, "Thats a gateway drug."

"It is if you make it one. Do not fight me on this, sheriff."

"I know you've done things highly illegal but it was for your own good. The good of both cities. You know, we've grown in the last five years because of your bravery?"

"I've noticed, thank you."

"I'd like to invite you to join the force."

The force? As in the "police force"? Caitlyn burst into laughter, "Sorry, sheriff. You nearly got me there."

"I'm being serious. With someone like you on the force, it will bring more common sense to these people."

"I appreciate the offer but I think I'm alright. Thank you."

"Suit yourself, it's an alright job."

"This city is doing too well for it to be an 'alright job', sheriff, the workdays would be too boring."

"They were doing well."

"Fucking Crownguards..."

"Pieter Crownguard can't get rid of his pride and fame and it's blinding him more and more. Augatha is getting to be the same way. And those poor children."

"It's not easy being looked at as selfish killers." Caitlyn said with a smirk.

"Get the hell out of my office, Kiramman. Go find the people you were looking for." Grayson said with a laugh as Caitlyn got up and walked out.

The mafia? Jesus, her life couldn't be anymore abnormal.

"Ow, Claggor, what the hell?!" Mylo shouted after Claggor woke him up from a deep sleep. The piece of glass had still been stuck in Mylo's leg and all three of them knew that they couldn't just yank it out, "You could've been nicer about it!"

Caitlyn had found all three of them as Claggor woke up. They were hiding in a building with the windows blown out so Caitlyn was easily able to find them. Vander rubbed his eyes and looked up at Caitlyn, "What the hell are you doing up here?" He asked getting up and dusting himself off.

"Looking for you," Caitlyn said helping Claggor pull Mylo up, "I told Vi to stay behind."

"Why the hell would you do that?"

"I can handle myself."

Mylo yelled and Caitlyn rolled her eyes looking down at his leg, "Seriously?" She said, "It barely broke the skin, pussy." She pulled the piece of glass out causing Mylo to nearly scream like a little girl, "Fucking flesh wound."

"I'll carry the kid, you focus on going back the way you came," Vander said taking Caitlyn's place.

"I can do my best. I'm not exactly sure if I remember."

Of course Caitlyn didn't remember. She still had the whole you're-part-of-a-mafia thing on her mind. She knew how to get to the Undercity, she just didn't remember the way she went.

"Just try to figure it out," Vander said, "You've got bullets, right?"

"Always." Caitlyn said as Mylo yelped again.

"Oi, put a sock in it, will ya?" Vander said to Mylo.

"I don't think we have anything to worry about. The bombs aren't being sent over and the soldiers have weak weapons. And the sheriff already knows I'm out here."

"The sheriff?"

"It's a long story. Just keep your balance with him and we'll be safe."

Caitlyn guided the three men through the buildings and alleys of Piltover. It was weird because Piltover had never been this empty. Not for as long as Caitlyn could remember. You could hear a pen drop from miles away if Mylo stopped screaming like a little girl.

They finally reached the bridge to the Undercity. You were only allowed to drive over the bridge but they had nothing to worry about. Once they reached the front of the bar, Caitlyn could hear Vander and Claggor drop Mylo on the ground. She smiled because she knew it was on purpose.

"Finally," Vander said catching his breath, "Why is it that you had to get hurt? Why couldn't it have been Claggor?"

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!" Claggor snapped. Vander patted his shoulder.

"Nothing, kid. Just get inside, will you?"

Caitlyn allowed them to walk around her before she walked inside the bar. Once they got inside, no one was in there. All the lights were off and it seemed no one had been there for a while, "They should be in the basement," Caitlyn said, "If not, I'll check upstairs." She was careful to open the door to the basement of the bar not knowing how paranoid people would be. The place was old, so there was no sneaking down into the basement.

The only people there were Powder, Ekko, and Benzo. Not Vi, "I told her!" Powder said jumping up from the couch, "I told her you would come back the moment she left!"

"Where is she?" Caitlyn asked.

"She went looking for you."
