You immediately started walking down the street to get to your hotel whilst crying. You couldn't believe it. After everything you two had been through, he has the nerve to cheat on you? Your mind raced with possibilities of what could've happened that lead him to do such a thing. Your thoughts were interrupted by a hand grasping your arm to stop you. "Cal-" You begin before turning to see that the hand didn't belong to him. "Ashton? Why did you follow me?" You ask, extremely confused. "Y/n you deserve some answers and I know Calum won't give them to you," he says, letting go of his grip on your arm. You sigh and wipe some stray tears from your eyes, "Like what?" Ashton motions towards a bench on the sidewalk for you two to sit down on. You sit down and he follows shortly, resting a hand on your knee. "Calum didn't cheat on you, she's a rebound," he says, "He said you guys were over after you left and he didn't even meet her until 3 days later." You shake your head and angrily clench your jaw, "That still doesn't give him the right to just do that when he says he needed 'alone' time." "I'm not saying what he did was right, I'm just saying that he didn't cheat on you," Ashton states. You roll your eyes, accepting that he's right, even though you didn't want him to be. "But that's not the only reason I came after you," he says, looking in your eyes. You furrow your eyebrows and tilt you head, almost as if asking him why else he would come after you. Ashton slightly chuckles, "Look; I've been watching Calum treat you like shit for the past few weeks and it's severely annoying me, mainly because I think you're an amazing girl who could deserves much better." You blush when he says this, "What are you saying, Irwin?" "I think you know what I'm saying," he says as he grabs your hand, "After this all blows over, do you think you'd like to go out to dinner sometime?" Ashton's smile stretches across his entire face when you answer, "I'd love to."
