***Elizabeth's P.O.V.***

I sat on my bed talking to my brother, Alex, because I was supposed to be visiting him in Paris right now. Due to Carson's little ''plan'' I'd be late to see him, and I was sad about that for sure. "Another month?" he questioned.

"Yeah," I confirmed. I looked down at my shorts and t-shirt, fiddling with the hem of the light blue half-sleeved shirt absent-mindedly.

"But I miss you," he whined.

I mentally rolled my eyes at his childish behavior, "I miss you too, Alex. Don't worry, Carson left me her credit card so I have more than enough money to stay in a hotel. At least I'm not going to be homeless for a whole month.''

"I know, I just wish there was someone there to protect you,'' he stated.

I shook my head even though he couldn't see me. Alex was way too overprotective, and exceedingly getting even more protective due to him being in Paris for college. "I don't need anyone," I assured him, ''I'm fine, really, the hotel I'm staying at isn't the nicest though.''

''How so?'' he asked, a hint of mischief in his voice, I could tell he was going to tease me in some way, shape, or form. Oh gosh, I shouldn't have said anything.

''it's kind of... old,'' I replied, ''you know, a bit dingy.''

''Oh, you know what they say about those kind of places don't you?''

''No, what?'' I asked, starting to get nervous. Alex always had a way to get under my skin, he knew what made me squeal and he never failed to use that against me. I could practically hear his sinister grin in his words.

''They say that there are ghosts in those kind of hotels, and bugs that crawl into your ears and control your brain,'' he said. I shivered at the thought of the bugs and then jumped at a random noise that came from outside my room's door. "And don't even mention the spiders that crawl into your mouth when you're sleeping and lay eggs.''

I let out a small whimper, ''Alex, stop it.''

''You're so gullible,'' he chuckled.

My eyes darted around the room frantically, ''thanks a lot, now I'm paranoid.'' There was a knock on the door and I almost jumped six feet in the air. I sighed heavily when I remembered that I was going to go get coffee with Harry. ''Alex, I got to go, I'm going somewhere with an acquaintance,'' I told him.

''Okay, be careful,'' he pleaded.

I smiled and said bye before hanging up and walking to the door. I had straightened my hair today and, as always, was wearing my Ray Bans. Seeing as I was just going to get a coffee with Harry, I was wearing casual clothing. The only real accessary I had was a beanie. I opened the door to see Harry smiling at me, with dimples and everything. I smiled back excitedly and closed the door behind me, ''hi, Harry!''

''Hi, Elizabeth!'' he said with equal excitement. He seemed like a normal guy, you know, nothing particularly special about him. Sure, he was very handsome, but you don't have to be good looking to be a pop-star. I wondered if it bothered him that I didn't know who he is or how he sang. After all, this would be a totally different situation if he was a famous Christian artist. I'd probably be fangirling. I couldn't help but smile at that thought. ''Shall we?'' he asked, pulling me out of my thoughts and offering me his arm.

I locked my arm with his as I replied, ''we shall.'' As we walked I fiddled with my purity ring, spinning it around my finger. Once we exited the hotel I looked up at Harry to see him... glaring at my ring. I raised an eyebrow at him and then brought his eyes to mine by asking, ''so what's this coffee outing all about?''

''I just wanted to hang-out,'' he said, ''you know, learn more about my new friend.''

Friend, I repeated in my head, I liked that. I was friends with Harry, a boy in a boy-band, but that last part didn't seem to matter because at that moment I just liked Harry for Harry. ''What do you want to know?''

Harry smiled as if he had rehearsed this in his head, ''everything.''

I bit my bottom lip, thinking as we climbed into his car. ''Well,'' I started once we were in the expensive looking car, ''I'm nineteen, and you already know I'm not from here. I have a brother, Alex, I was on the phone with him before you came.''

''Really?'' he questioned.

''Yeah,'' I replied, ''what about you? Do you have any siblings?'' I clenched the door handle, even as I tried to sound casual. London driving was still a mystery to me, everything was backwards.

''Yeah, my sister Gemma,'' he answered. He glanced over at me and noticed my silent panicking, ''are you okay?''

I nodded, ''I'm just not familiar with the driving style here.''He chuckled and before I knew it, we were at a Starbucks. He opened the car door for me and we walked into the small coffee shop. ''So, what were you doing before you became famous?''

''No, no, no, we were talking about you,'' he replied.

I sighed, ''there's not much about me to talk about.'' On the contrary, I could find a lot of things to tell him about Most of those things, however, resided in my past and are better left alone. We ordered our drinks and sat at a table before Harry smiled a heart stopping smile at me. it showed his dimples and I have to admit, I quite like dimples.

''I'm sure there's something interesting about you,'' Harry insisted.I shook my head. ''Well, why are you here in the U.K.?'' he pondered

''Carson and I were planning on visiting all the major countries here in Europe before I had to come back for Uni, until she ditched me,'' I explained. Harry had been drinking coffee as I was explaining, and he sputtered out the coffee when I said she. ''Harry, are you okay?'' I asked worriedly.

He wiped off his mouth ant the coffee he spat out and then looked at me, ''yeah, i'm great. If you don't mind me asking, what is that ring for?'' He was biting his lip as if he were trying to keep from smiling.

''It's my purity ring.'' Harry cocked his head signifying that I needed to explain, ''it shows that I'll keep my virginity until I'm married.''

''So it's not an engagement ring?'' he clarified.

''Nope, I'd need a boyfriend for an engagement ring,'' I assured him. He sighed and I couldn't help but think that he was relieved by my words. Harry was definitely a mystery to me.
