Hate You, I Love You.

CHAPTER 18

"I enjoy working at the cafe. I got the chance to learn how to make coffee," I stated as Sebastian and I found a seat near the seaside view.

"Really? That's good. You know I really wanted to visit you there but dad wants me in the hospital so that I can learn new things while he is having his duty."

"It's okay, at least you can have the experience to work in a hospital already." I smiled as I held Sebastian's hand. "I miss you,"

"I miss you, more." Sebastian answered back. Placing his other hand on top of mine.

We enjoyed the sunset view while eating fast food take outs. The both of us talked about anything that whatever comes to our mind.

That moment, I enjoyed every minute I get to spend with Sebastian. He was busy looking at the distance while I look at his side profile. I smiled just staring at him. He then look back at me and he just give me a smile as he took my hand for him to hold.

You know how crazy it may sounds when people say that you fell in love with the person even more just by staring at them? It's true. I don't have any words to say when I look at Sebastian because his existence and his presence makes me love him even more.

I thought I wouldn't experience this kind of feeling and would just feel it whenever a guy and girl end up together in a book or movie, but now I can attest that love can surprise you and make you feel things you least expected.

I guess I'm really in love because... I found the one I love.

"I might melt from the way you stare at me, love." Sebastian uttered smiling.

I just laughed at his words as I move closer to his side, hugging his arm while I rest my head on his shoulders. Sebastian light rested his head on mine as he intertwined our fingers into each other's as we enjoy the sun setting.

The next day, I entered the cafe an hour before my time of duty. Benjamin was busy doing something at the counter so I surprised him from the back.

"Benny!" I exclaimed.

He didn't give me a reaction I wanted.

"Didn't you think that I was not gonna see you when you entered the cafe?" Benjamin laughed.

"Yeah right," I answered as I put my bag inside the storage room. I took my working apron hanging at the back of the door and wore it around my waist tying my hair as I went up to the counter.

I was putting coffee beans into the coffee machine when I heard a chime on the door. Benny took the order and as I turn back, I saw a familiar face.

"Iris?" Kim stated.

"Kim? Hi." I answered back.

"You work here?" She asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, just for the summer break."

I finished the drink I was making earlier and Benjamin was the one who made Kim's order.

I was about to go to the storage room when Kim called my attention.

"I was dropping this coffee to Sebastian because mom's having her general check up at their hospital. Do you have something to say to Sebastian that you would like to relay to me?"

Girl, that was too much information.

"Nothing, I can relay that to Sebastian myself in case there is something I want to tell him." I force myself to smile.

"Okay," Kim smiled. "I'll see you around, Iris."

I deeply exhaled when Kim left the cafe. I rolled my eyes and as I turn back, Benny was laughing.
