Hate You, I Love You.

Chapter 6

"Good morning, Iris. You seem early today." Sophie greeted.

I nodded. "Good morning, Sophie. Yeah, I did. I just want to be early today,"

Call me crazy but I left the house an hour early than my usual travel time just to avoid Sebastian.

"Hey girls," after a couple of minutes, Camille arrived with Andrea.

I was bored, so, I fished my phone out of my pocket to look for something interesting in social media. I was browsing through random funny videos when my classmates started going inside the room.

I kept on yawning and I know why.

The class started and we had a discussion regarding pharmaceutical calculations. We had to solve some questions through the discussion and our professor decided to give us a short quiz before ending the class.

Lunch time and I went to the Cafeteria with Camille and Andrea. We lined in the counter and after we have chosen our food, we look for our seat.

The cafeteria's a bit full since it was exactly 12 noon. Thankfully, Camille is a social butterfly and she found one of her friends alone in a table where the three of us can join.

"Ezrah," Camille called him.

"Cam," he answered back.

"Can we share the table with you? It's just me, Andrea, and our new friend... Iris." I was surprised when Camille introduced me.

Ezrah then fixed his food tray. "Yeah, sure. I don't mind." He then looked at me. "Nice to meet you, Iris."

I timidly smiled. "Nice to meet you too,"

Camille, Ezrah, and Andrea are busy talking to each other while I make myself busy eating.

My phone chimed and it was a reminder that I have to return the book I borrowed from the library.

Our next class will be at two in the afternoon so I still have some time to go to the library.

We finished our lunch and the four of us decided to leave the cafeteria together.

"You guys can go ahead, I have to drop by at the library to return a book I borrowed." I stated when Camille and Andrea were preparing to leave.

"Oh great, I'm going to the library too. If it's okay with you.. can I come?" Ezrah joined the conversation.

"Okay, we'll just see you in our next class, Iris." Camille smiled. "See you around, Ezrah."

Camille and Andrea already left, so I was with Ezrah. I agreed coming with him at the library.

"You're not from Summerside are you?" Ezrah started the conversation while walking.

I swayed my head. "Nope, I'm from Guzview."

"That is why you don't look familiar. Since most of the students here in Harton goes to the same middle school."

The conversation then ended as we walk through the hallway, Sebastian was walking in the same hallway but in an opposite direction. We were walking towards the library but he is walking away from the library.

Our gazes met but then he was the one who looked away. After I finished returning the book, Ezrah remained at the library while I leave for my next class.

"Good afternoon class, today we're just going to discuss about taxonomy." The professor then continued discussing.

The class ended early and I decided to directly go home to have a rest with all the information being discussed in the class.
