"Jayse, hurry up or we'll be late." I screamed from downstairs calling Jayse who is still not finish in getting his self ready.
It's almost seven in the morning and we have to leave already because it usually takes forty five minutes to travel going to Harton.
Jayse hurriedly went downstairs, carrying his bag on his right while carrying a water bottle on his left. I went out of the house first to start the car and just waited there. I reached for the glovebox to check if my license was there. After I have confirmed, my head raised and my stare went directly to the car across mine.
I saw his black Porsche, parking on their driveway and it seems that he hasn't left yet. Jayse suddenly blocked the window as he stood there trying to open the door. I went back to my seat, tucked in my seat belt and waited for Jayse to get inside.
I dropped Jayse at the bus station where he could ride a bus going to his school because our schools have a different route.
"Thanks, big sis." Jayse uttered as he closes the door.
I went on my way and the road was not busy. There's no traffic the reason for me to arrive at the school twenty minutes earlier than my desired time. I parked my car near the health sciences department and as soon as I went out, I heard someone screaming my name from a distance.
"Iris!"
I took my bag from the backseat before I greeted Camille.
"Hi," I smiled. "You are so full of energy today.."
Camille chuckled as she hugged my arm while we walk in the back of the building.
"Yeah, it's a good day.. and guess what? it's been two weeks since the class started... and man, second year in pharmacy is no joke." She sighed.
"Well, good luck to us." I teased.
Our first class will be conducted in a laboratory room so we decided to ride the lift. Camille pushed down the button for us and as we arrive at the third floor, some of our classmates are waiting outside.
"Sophie! Andrea! Jerry!" Camille exclaimed when she saw them sitting at the bench near the botanical garden.
"Hi guys, good morning." I greeted.
"Iris!" Sophie smiled. "It's good that you're okay."
I got confused for a second. I turn to Camille and she showed a nervous smile as she gestured a peace sign. She was the only person who knew that me and Sebastian broke up weeks ago.
"I overshared." She then gave me a side hug. "But it's okay right? I only told Andrea and Jerry too."
"It's okay. Things happen." I answered back.
The laboratory room opened and we went inside to find our desired seat. Since the tables were in a circle shape, the five of us seated in one table. We were about to write our names in the attendance sheet, but when I open my bag, my pen case was not there. I then remembered that it was inside the glovebox.
"I'll just get my pens in the car, I'll be right back in a second." I told Camille.
I used the stairs to have a fast access going to the car. I opened the car and took the pen case inside the glovebox. I was about to head back when I noticed the car parked beside mine. I went to the front to confirm the plate number... and affirmative, the car parked beside mine is Sebastian's.
I sighed as I return back to the building. I decided to ride the lift since there was no queue. The door of the lift opened and I went inside. I pushed the button with number three on it and as the door was about to close, a hand stopped it from closing. I jolted and quickly pressed the button to open the door of the lift.
