                                              Selina threw a knife at the wall.
"FUCK."
It sounded more defeated than she intended. She wanted to sound mad.
She fell against the wall and slumped onto the floor. "Why!? Why in the gods are you like this!?" She screamed at herself.
She hit her fist against the poor wall.
"You whiney, selfish, little monster!" She buried her face in her knees. Damnit, she was NOT going to cry. She was NOT.
She let the defeat hit her chest. She lurched forward in a sob.
It had been years! Four years!
Her village was gone, there was nothing left to mourn.
So, how could Gaia still allow her to still mourn? It wasn't fair.
Why was it still tearing at her chest and heart? Why did the hatred still burn in her mind? Why did she still want to hurt every hero who swore they'd protect everyone, even when that was impossible?
Why wouldn't it stop?
