                                              "What the hell are you doing!?" Rouge demanded, trying to stand.
Her attempt failed as she fell back to the ground. Her stomach was bleeding, but she could handle herself. She didn't need Shadow to protect her.
Shadow didn't seem to agree. "Rouge, stay down." He practically demanded. He kept standing in front of her like an idiot.
The Badnik seemed unfazed by the obstacle in its way. It just continued attacking, scratching, and fighting to kill.
Shadow didn't stand down, no matter how many injuries were carved into him. He wasn't going to let her get more hurt.
He wasn't going to let her die.
No sister of his would die ever again.
