Aida's Point Of View
"Excuse me, miss!"
"Hmmm?"
"Where can I find CEO Kim's office?"
"Oh, CEO Kim Woe Ben? Top floor."
"Thank you very much!"
"You're welcome."
She said and she even give me a smile. You know what, that's the most polite response I've ever heard simula nung dumating ako dito sa malaking company ni Gabrielle.
I hurriedly looked for the elevator at nung makita ko ito, agaran itong nilapitan. It's my first day working at Gab's office, and it seems like I might be late.
He intentionally left me at home and made me commute alone to his company, siguro parusa niya na rin sa akin 'to dahil sa ginawa ko.
It was a struggle just to get here. Even getting into his company was a hassle, the guard almost didn't let me in, claiming I was trespassing.
We couldn't understand each other because he couldn't speak English and I can't speak nor understand Korean, and we almost ended up calling the police.
Luckily, the guy I was with in the taxi knew the guard, and I'm grateful to him dahil kung hindi sa kaniya malamang hindi ako makakapasok ngayon.
[Ya. Eodiyeyo?] (Where are you now?)
"Nandito na ako sa loob ng company mo at pwede b magsalita ka naman ng tagalog o english at ng maintindihan kita."
I gasped for breath as I was about to enter the elevator when suddenly someone instructed me. Not someone, maraming tao nag uunahan pumasok sa elevator dahilan para mahuli ako.
[Hurry up, double time. I'm hungry Aida. You are already late.]
Napakagat labi na lamang ako.
"Sandali anong o-oderin ko?"
[White Rice with Banchan, Kimchi Fried Rice, Instant Ramen Noodles, Samgyeopsal with Lettuce and Kimchi, Bulgogi with Rice, Seaweed Soup, Bibimbap, Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Noodles), Kimchi Pancakes, Bean Sprout Soup, and Toast with Fried Eggs.]
"Ang dami naman nun, wait, saan ko mahahanap ang cafeteria dito?"
[Don't ask me, girl, that's your duty.]
After saying that, he hung up.
"Anak ng pusit!"
Seriously, his been bothering me since yesterday. I had no choice but to exit the elevator and look for the cafeteria they mentioned. I smelled something nice on the first floor, so it's probably here downstairs.
I just wandered around for a few minutes and finally found the cafeteria they were talking about. And as I suspected, it's downstairs. It wasn't hard to find. I just followed a woman carrying a food pack and juice.
"Found it!"
Their cafeteria is fancy, like a five-star hotel. It felt like I was in an expensive restaurant.
I approached their long counter, but there were many chefs or vendors to make it easier to understand. So, I approached one of them to place my order, but she suddenly shouted at me. I didn't know why she suddenly yelled and pointed fingers at me, drawing attention from many employees here.
"Excuse me, a-ajumma..."
"Mworago haesseoyo!?" (What did you say!?)
(0_0) What did I do?
"Chwesonghamnida! Ajumma--" (I'm so-sorry, ma'am--)
Surprised, I quickly apologized to the woman at the counter.
