This is my first little mini series of this book. So far I've written 4 chapters that have 2 or more chapters to go along with it and this is the first. This has 3 parts and my idea for it was to try and show the emotions of a mother watching her daughter become a mother too and although this is set back in the December of 2018, I hope you see the theme through out as the chapters go on.

5am wasn't at all an ungodly hour for rina buswell to be wide awake, hurrying her things together ready for her early shift at work, the last one before Christmas which she would be spending with all of her children under one roof which definitely was unusual. She couldn't remember the last time they had been all together at Christmas; Brendan had its own family now with two of his own children, Andrew had a new girlfriend Mel who was joining the buswell Christmas for the first time and well dianne....dianne was definitely the odd one out. Not in a bad way, she was the light of rinas life and she was the little girl she had always wanted but her desire to go for not so normal jobs had lead her 9000 miles away from anyone she knew and she had started a new life over in England which she didn't always go into depths about.

Dianne was an unusual girl. She was funny and kind and everyone adored her but her somewhat spontaneous nature was at times questionable. Having moved out at just 17, moving half way across the world a year later, nobody really could understand what had made dianne this way. She was doing what she loved and everyone was happy for her but for her whole family, especially rina who's natural Italian motherly instincts could get overbearing at times, they all worried about dianne who seemed to be constantly changing what she was doing and where she was doing it. Rina had considered at first maybe being the youngest, and the only girl too she may naturally be a risk taker but diannes lack of communication sometimes was worrying. She loved her family and she tried to keep them as updated as possible but sometimes she would just go off, too caught up in the excitement of doing something new to boast about it those those back home who were worried at her sudden constant changes.

Despite that dianne had been very successful. From a young age she had always wanted to be a dancer and had achieved that dream after appearing on multiple stage productions, world tours, cruises and TV shows, her most recent that being strictly come dancing.

It was a big task. Mark and rina hadn't realised how popular the show was when dianne had first mentioned it but it soon became very apparent that their daughter was working on the biggest TV show in the country and had suddenly gained a following now living in the public eye. She was a very lovable character. She wasn't just a professional dancer but this fiery, redheaded Australian who didn't at all look too bad either which had lead her to have her fair share of relationships, even when she had been young.

Not all of them had been bad but those that had, had been awful. Dianne had been with liars, cheaters, boys instead of men and seemed to be naturally drawn to this certain bad boy type. Someone who wasn't totally perfect, was rigged around the edges, someone who wasn't scared to test her to her limits which had ultimately left her with the obsession of being drawn into unhealthy relationships. She had luckily never found herself in a physical situation but the way some of these boys had spoken down to her and made her feel had been a concern for her parents, especially when she lived so far away from home. She found comfort in being the more submissive one in any relationship, and she almost liked being controlled but she hadn't realised how unhealthy they was until very recently.

At her big age of 29, the age at which some may already be settled down in long term relationships, dianne still hadn't met the one. She had been in a relationship that year that hadn't worked out. It was one of those ones that had been good but not alot was reciprocated and to split up was a mutual decision, now though however...as she was back under her mums roof, she seemed somewhat different. This spontaneous, self-confessed wild child, a risk taker, this dare devil was alot more shy and reserved and quiet. She had spent alot of time in her room since coming home and though rina knew diannes reasons why, she thought it was odd. The sudden change in her daughter wasn't normal but she promised herself not to address it.
