I'm not sure how I feel about this one. You'll have to excuse my attempt of writing poetry but I thought I'd do something different. I haven't written a poem since year 9 English which was a very long time ago so you'll have to imagine it's actually good.

10 years later
Wiltshire, England

"Don't worry bro, she's here"
The familiar hand of one of joes best friends, and also his brother in law, alfie, patted onto his shoulder, sending a wave of relief through his whole body after the nerves that had grown even more for every minute she was late to the moment he hadn't just been waiting for since he proposed on a stunning, Spanish mountain top, 2 years before but infact since the moment she had walked in to Mrs jones classroom on that Friday lunchtime back in the December of 10 years ago. He didn't know then he would marry her but here he was 10 years on from that very moment and this was what he had been waiting for, for what felt like forever.

"Thank god"
Joe sighed, as the room fell alot quieter as the white rolls Royce outside the window came to a slow stop and a figure dressed in white stepped out which he quickly diverted his eyeline from, not wanting to see her until he really had to which he figured was very soon as all those behind him stood from their seats decorated with silky emerald green ribbons, the same colour of the ring he had given her a few years before, the gift he had given her to promise he would keep her forever, and the same colour he noticed her bridesmaids wore as each one of them walked past and stood againts the front row of seats until the music they had chosen grew louder. A special song to them. An instrumental of a Christmas song. Released the year, the month, the week where they had first met. Number 1 in the charts on the day of their very first kiss.

"Ok look round now"
Alfie gave him the go ahead as he had promised he was and so joe turned around to see the girl he first saw at the classroom door when he was just 15 years old, exact now she was looking a lot different. One thing joe knew for certain though was that she looked just as beautiful as she did back then. Her once brown hair was now a Disney red, a change she had made when they brought their very first house when he had just finshed University tied up in a low bun above her neck. The red was something which was a brave decision but made her feel so much more confident and joe love her so much more. Her dress was glimmering underneath the bright yellow hue from the chandelier above them. Long sleeves detailed with the most delicate lace, pearly buttons on her wrists. A dress that sinched a heart over her breasts and down her chest down to the striaght bodice along past her waist until it faded out along the back. The train circulating in a perfect loop behind her as she walked towards him, the glitter and lace falling behind her. At the centre of her waist, in her soft hands an arrangement of flowers tied in a sagey ribbon. A combination of seeded eucalyptus, white roses and daisy's. The hint of green from the stems, bringing together the splashes of emerald and sage in the room. One thing though that hadn't changed was her smile. Her soft lips. Her teeth. Her widening cheeks as her smile grew. And her eyes. The golden irises and fluttering eyelashes. The dreamy look of love in her pupils.

"Hey...."
Joe smiled as she finally reached him, watching as she let go of her dad's hand, a man joe had learnt over the years he didn't need the approval of because he already had it since the moment he walked dianne home and he saw them kiss from the kitchen window.

"Hello"

"You look incredible"
He whispered, only loud enough so she could hear.

"Thank you, you look amazing too"
She told him, the sight of him in a suit even after this long making her fall in love with him again each time.
