Maybe, just maybe there is a chance for the baby not to survive...?

Today is Billie's first ultrasound and she is nervous because, first, she'll have to go alone because Raelynn has a very important race and second, she is not ready for seeing her freedom slip away for the next twenty years. Because if the baby is healthy and everything....she won't be allowed to get an abortion because that's how fucking America works.

"Baby, it's gonna be fine" Raelynn spoke as she pulled her girlfriend in a tight hug, kissing her head.

"You don't know that" Billie answered softly yet fear was very much present in her voice.

"I do, now let's go, I have a race and you have to see your kid" Raelynn spoke and Billie sighed picking up her purse and walking out the door. As made her way to the parking lot, people passed by, no one knowing that the red rooted walking besides them is with child.

Billie put her earphones in and played the following track which just happened to be "Afraid of Heights" by BOYGENIUS. The young woman was afraid, but not of heights, no, she was afraid to see the small human living inside her womb.

As the building faded in the distance, Billie got inside her car and started the engine so she can take off. Once everything was set and ready to to, the woman took a long deep breath and drove away from the campus.

It didn't take long for her to arrive to the medic since she is a fast driver but once she parked in the hospital's parking lot anxiety and fear started slowly building up inside her. The red rooted got out of the car and made her way inside the building where she saw a mixed woman with the most beautiful afro she's ever seen, sitting at the reception.

"Morning honey, with what can I help you?" The nice lady asked in a soft voice, probably noticing how nervous the young girl is.

"I-I have an appointment for ten am for an ultrasound" She said softly making the receptionist understand and look through the files on her computer.

"Eilish? Is that it?" She asked making Billie nod her head and sit down. Looking at the watch on her arm she saw that it was 9:58 meaning two more minutes of thinking and re-thinking her decisions. Surely she won't keep the baby either way but somewhere deep deep inside her, Billie always dreamed of having a cute little family with a house up on a hill, the ocean and the mountains combining together in an angelic way. Having one or two kids playing around the back yard while she and her partner sit around, making barbecue on a summer evening.

Maybe a kid won't hurt anyone.

"Billie Eilish?" A lady with dyed red hair asked and Billie stood up, her body shaking nervously. She followed the woman inside the cabinet and watched her sit down on the chair next to the medical bed. The woman wad beautiful. Blue eyes, freckles, perfect plump lips covered in lip gloss. She was dressed in a doctor robe and had a sign with 'Dr. Ross' written on it"You can sit down, you know?" The doctor laughed making Billie chuckle nervously but sat down.

"So? When did you find out?" The doctor asked making Billie sigh and hiss at the cold gel that was applied on her belly.

"Well a few weeks ago I think" She said looking at the gel.

"Where is the father, if you don't mind me asking?"

"He's...we are not together anymore"

"So you're a single mother?"

"Yes and no" billie explained looking at the screen

"How's that?"

"Well I have my girlfriend who is taking care of me and everything" the doctor smiled at the sound of that.

"That's very sweet of her. I am a single mother, well I've been one for the last couple of years ever since my husband died. He was in army, you know?" Billie nodded looking at the woman"I have two beautiful girls. One is turning sixteen and the other is turning three. It's hard taking care of them alone but as mush as I'd want, K can't bring back my husband" She spoke and Billie felt so much empathy and pitty for the woman"Ah there it is."

Billie looked at the screen not seeing shit. She squirted her eyes making the doctor laugh and point at a small jellybean.

"Is that it?" Billie asked shocked of how small they are"Wow" she said in pure shock.

"You wanna hear the heartbeat?" Billie nodded and once she heard it everything stopped making her realize she can't abort, she wants this baby.

"Oh wow, it's...it's so beautiful" Billie said still shocked and the doctor nodded.

"Yes, well pregnancy is a beautiful thing"

Once the appointment was over Billie made her way back to the dorm room and since Raelynn wasn't home yet she took out her laptop and started searching for apartments or houses near the university because if she will have this baby, she won't have it here.

A few hours later the door opened revealing Raelynn with a smile on her face. That smile grew once she saw her beautiful girlfriend.

"Hey baby, how was it?" Raelynn asked and Billie smiled.

"I am keeping it" She said proudly watching the happiness grow on her girlfriend's face. Raelynn grabbed her girlfriend's face quickly and kissed her with love and lust. The two didn't bother to stop wherever this is going. Since Billie was only in one of Raelynn's t-shirts...

/N:Hiiiii my babies sorry for the short update. I know it's not the best but I am trying to get back on writing again. It's gonna take a while but I am trying. Thank you so so so much for the 11K. It feels like a fucking dream and for those who remember. I AM STILL WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AND SHE'S LIKE A DREAM. I love her so so much and in 2 days we're celebrating 3 months. Ayyyyy.
