Sephora

CHAPTER 19

Gradually the days began to turn into weeks and weeks into months, their lives finally went back to normal except, it was a new and rather refreshing normal.

Sephora finally decided it was time for the kids to go back to a proper school and this time she planned to do it the way it should have been all along.

       "We are here ma'am "
dominco informed Sephora who nodded before turning to her kids who were bursting with excitement at the idea of going to a proper school.

Slowly they got down from the car, camera lights suddenly coming off, who knew students also had the desire for gossip like the paps.

Soon they arrived the principals office, he was an awfully tall man.

     "Hello Miss Williams"
He greeted, stretching his hands towards Sephora who softly shook him.

     "Principal Keys"
She replied before turning to her kids who stood respectfully in the side.

     "These are my kids, Cara, Ivy and Berlin"
She introduced, pointing at the kids who waved at the giant before them.

      "You are so tall"
Berlin whispered in fascination while the man laughed at her obvious ignorance towards the fact that she actually said that out loud.

     "Welcome to Kings And Queens Institute"
He replied, softly shaking their hands before offering them a sit in the waiting room while he discussed with Sephora.

After a lot of talking and what not, Sephora realised that it was a step in the right direction.

It was an awfully expensive school, it was a good thing that it came highly recommended and Principal Keys gave only  reasonable rules and guidelines for the kids.

Slowly they walked the grounds with Principal Keys giving them a proper tour of the school.

In as much as she was impressed, she still worried about the fact that Berlin was going to be  leaving her side, Was the kid ready to face the real world after everything she'd been through?.

Soon if was just left with her and principal Keys, the kids had branched off to see some fountain or something, At least they loved the environment.

      "You seem like some princess if you ask me"
Sephora heard in the corner making her stop only to turn so she could ask if the tour could be ended seeing as the people he should be given it had other things fascinating them. 

As quietly as she could manage, she went closer to the wall only to notice a little girl staring at Berlin  like she'd never seen someone like her before.

This almost made Sephora laugh.

How did that even happen?, Sephora wondered.

    "How does she look like a princess?"
The other kid  replied, staring down at Berlin who tilted her head.

     "You are only bitter because I'm  prettier"
Berlin replied and in that moment Sephora smirked, oh she was more than ready alright.

      "I'm Berlin and this is my twin sister Ivy"
Berlin introduced while Sephora watched as the other kids introduced themselves and just like that they began chatting about lord knows what.

On the side, Sephora saw Cara, she seemed to be doing physically okay but Sephora didn't buy it before  she noticed that Cara hadn't spoken a lot since they even left the house.

She was about to go to her when she noticed a very beautiful girl coming her way, Sephora knew that she'd seen that face somewhere yet she didn't seem to recall where.
