The next day, Sephora and the kids set out on a house-hunting adventure in Sicily, armed with a list of potential properties and a determination to find the perfect home.

She could still hear Aries whining about how he wanted them to just stay with him, it's not like there wasn't enough room in the house to begin with and when she said no, he suggested buying a bigger house as though anything could beat the palace he was living in.

It's not like Sephora didn't like the idea, of course she did, only problem was the fact that she had been in a relationship, gotten married, had a divorce and dating again.

She was too old to be making silly mistakes especially with children involved.

Besides, if things ever decided not to go as beautiful as planned, it would be comforting to know that she had her own home to hide in.

A point she wasn't shy to express to Aries who understood and accepted for her to do it, not of course without making her swear that he got equal custody of the kids.

A statement that had everyone laughing hard with mama reminding him that it wasn't a divorce process.

Obviously he hadn't realized his own words until she said it making Aries turn red in embarrassment before  practically chasing them out after kissing his lover and then the kids in the head and wishing them a productive day.

Their first stop was a beautiful old villa in the countryside, with stone walls and a terra cotta roof. But as they stepped inside, Sephora's heart sank. The rooms were small and dark, with low ceilings and narrow windows. The kids wandered around, unimpressed, and Sephora knew this wasn't the one.

Next, they visited a modern mansion on the outskirts of town, with sleek lines and a rooftop pool. But as they walked through the empty rooms, Sephora felt a chill. The house was cold and impersonal, with no character or charm. The kids raced around, excited by the space, but Sephora knew this wasn't the warm and welcoming home she wanted.

As the day wore on, they visited house after house, each one not quite fitting their needs. A cozy cottage with a lovely garden, but too small for their family. A spacious farmhouse with a beautiful view, but in need of too much renovation. The kids were getting tired and hungry, and Sephora was starting to feel frustrated.

Regardless, she didn't give up. She knew that the perfect house was out there, and she was determined to find it. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the Sicilian countryside, Sephora spotted a listing for a villa that caught her eye. And thankfully it seemed close to everything she had in mind because the description promised a stunning view and a beautifully restored interior.

With renewed hope, Sephora and the kids made their way to the villa, winding through narrow roads and olive groves. And then, as they crested a hill that made way back into Aries neighborhood,  they saw it - a grand villa perched on a hillside, with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea.

The kids gasped in unison, their eyes wide with excitement. Sephora's heart skipped a beat as she gazed at the villa, her instincts telling her that this was the one. They spent the next hour exploring the villa and its grounds, and Sephora knew that they had finally found their new home.

As they stepped inside the grand villa, the kids' eyes widened in awe. And in no time, she watched as they raced around, exploring every nook and cranny, while Sephora took a deep breath, feeling a sense of peace wash over her.

The interior was even more stunning than the exterior, with high ceilings, marble floors, and large windows that let in an abundance of natural light. The kids' laughter and shouts of excitement echoed through the halls as they discovered new wonders at every turn.
