CHAPTER 23

Aries sat at his patio, smoking his cigar and simply watching his guards do their duties so kinly He almost laughed.

Life really was hard and also simple, a thin line one wouldn't even realize existed until they crossed from hard to easy and easy to hard.

Once he was a broke boy with temporary dreams and teenage hopes, only difference is, Back then he needed no protection because who cared for a simple boy in the streets.

Then he made money and somehow he went from simple to  one of the wealthiest men on earth, naturally it should have gotten easier but no it didn't, he now needs more protection than ever, even strangers now cared for his mere existence even if he didn't have knowledge of their own existence.

Slowly he inhaled his cigar, looking around at the beauty of nature till he suddenly sighted Ella's car from his gate except it wasn't just her car but she had a whole convoy behind her.

This instantly got Aries attention because Ella loved her privacy more than anything in the world but then again people change.

Slowly he went to his room and changed into a simple Jean and shirt before brushing his teeth again, he knew how much his sister hated the scent of cigar especially on him.

Quickly he left his quarters and got in on the elevator right on time to see Ella running towards him in one of her incredibly tight hugs.

It had been close to ten months if not more since they saw each other last.

Aries remembered her last advice been that It was best he gave Sephora a chance to do what she needed to do.

An advice that brought about the most difficult months of his life.

He had never missed anyone as much as he missed her but he also knew that he couldn't force his affections upon her.

Months had past since she demanded to be left alone and free from another man who could potentially bring her entire world crumbling in on itself.

Those had been her words except they weren't exactly as kind as he made it sound yet somehow Aries understood her and everything she'd been feeling at the time.

If the tables were turned, would he push her away? No.

Would he ask her to leave based on the actions of another woman? Probably.

Was it enough reason to give up on her? Definitely Not.

Aries had no intention on ever letting Sephora go, he was obsessed but he did also knew that if he ever got the chance to try again, He would do it differently, He would approach the situation entirely different.

If she still didn't think of him in that regard then he would let her go, his love wasn't enough to force anyone into anything.

Ella snapped her fingers on Aries face while he smirked teasingly, distracting Ella who laughed at his antics.

Aries on the other hand ruffled his head before putting one hand in his pocket.

     "So guess who's been making friends"
Ella chirped while Aries shook his head before looking outside because he was hearing voices.
