So it was my birthday a couple of weeks Back and I forgot to update just because I can 🤷‍♂️☺️🤗

So, out of love and adoration for y'all, here's a new update y'all.

The next day was spent with Aries spoiling the kids silly.

He knew that the moment they got to their mother it was going to be difficult to be with them under the same room as long as they were going to stay.

"Uncle Aries, I can't find another color"
Ivy complained before gesturing to the dress she held.

Aries smiled before stretching his hands to find the exact black Ivy held out to him.

He could never understand the twin's obsession with the color black but what could he do.

"Your nieces are so adorable Aries"
The shopping assistant all but purred, earning a glare from Cara who had done nothing but cover Aries from Thirsty women in her own words.

     "He's Sir to you miss."
Cara corrected, staring down at the lady who was genuinely taller than her.

     "And he's our mother's boyfriend"
Ivy chipped in, arms folded on her chest as though challenging the woman.

Their defense although adorable, it wasn't a necessity because he didn't particularly appreciate that she not only called him by his name when they didn't share any form of friendship, she also touched him just to express her fondness of the kids.

"I'm sure your uncle understands that I meant no harm"
She purred again, swiping off an invisible dust from Aries shirt.

As quickly as her hands landed, Julio, Aries personal guard grabbed her hands and carefully guided her away, no doubt understanding what he needed to do.

"Alright girls, let's go toy shopping"
Aries announced, thankful for the easy distraction, although Cara still seemed in defense mode.

"She won't be coming to work anytime soon fiore"
Aries whispered to Cara who nodded her head before exhaling and joining Ivy and Berlin who were been led to the Electronics side of the mall, Aries planned to spoil them silly.

Looking at them, he noticed that Cara seemed more protective than she usually was, more guarded, he never remembered her been so defensive but then again, after everything she'd been through, even he would become that way if the tables were turned.

Soon enough, the day came to a very exhausting end, so exhausting that Aries didn't even realize that he and the kids slept off on the couch, spread out in different weird angles.

Ella who had spent the day organizing the final ball that would conclude the summit found herself laughing at the way everyone spread out in the living room.

For once in her life she found herself genuinely happy and eternally thankful for not only her brother but for the presence of the kids and Sephora in their lives.

She remembered the first time she saw  Her brother after his absence all those years ago.

Words could never express how happy she'd felt that faithful day yet she knew that he was no longer the sweet innocent boy he had been all those years ago.

His once sparkling eyes now had a dark and soulless look in them and his once happy self now fronted a moody, cold and careless appearance.

Ella was no fool, she didn't need a soothsayer to know that wherever he went all those years he'd been absent had not only taken his innocence, it had taken his soul as well.
